Outlook

Kellen Davis seems to catch someone's eye every season, but at 29 years old it's time to start wondering if he's ever going to make his mark. In six NFL seasons Davis has never caught 20 passes in spite of starting 39 games. His role in New York is tenuous, at best.

2013 Game Summaries

Week 3 - Yes, it was a big day for Seattle tight ends. Davis subbed in and promptly caught two long-ish passes. Heís down on the depth chart but with more playing time, has the skills to contribute.

Week 7 - Davis is the third TE on the depth chart, and came in for the goal line package. No one covered him on the play in which he scored, and in fact it looked like he may not have even been the intended target. Nevertheless, good catch. Just donít expect much more of that going forward.

Week 13 - Davis was targeted in the red zone, late in the game, but could not hold on to the ball. It was a lucky play though, as the tipped ball, which was caught by a teammate for the score.
