2007 Game Summaries

Week 2 - Davis had one carry for four yards in the first half. He caught a screen pass on the next play, but couldn't find any room to run.

Week 3 - Davis caught all three of his targets. He had one ten yard gain. The other two grabs combined to lose a yard.

Week 5 - Davis carried twice once the game was wrapped up.

Week 7 - Davis had one look out of the back field on the Steelers' last drive of the game.

Week 8 - Davis caught the only pass thrown his way for a short gain.

Week 11 - In limited duty, the big fullback had two carries for 16 yards. In the third quarter, on third and 17, Davis ran a draw play for nine yards, which helped set up Jeff Reed for the FG that tied the game 13--13.

Week 12 - Davis had no rushing attempts but did catch a third down pass in the second quarter.

Week 16 - Davis got two carries for eight yards in the first half as he became the primary backup to RB Najeh Davenport as starter RB Willie Parker went out early with a serious injury. Davis got some carries in the fourth quarter when Davenport went of the game with a twisted ankle. He had a nice 12 yard for a first down after getting to the edge on a sweep to the left. He finished the game with six carries for 28 yards.

Week 18 - Davis played a combination of running back and fullback on the night. He dropped a pass at the 1 yard line but the Steelers still scored a touchdown on the drive.
