Best Case

Aaron Rodgers simply doesn't bring enough to the table and Brian Brohm wins the job early on in the season. His intelligence and right reads on the field bring confidence to the Packers offense and the team barely misses a beat without Brett Favre. Brohm has enough production to be a good backup in fantasy leagues.

Worst Case

Rodgers has a hot start to the season and becomes the clear-cut starter in Green Bay. Brohm gets efficient at standing on the sidelines, providing no fantasy production this season.

Outlook

Brohm is likely going to be slotted as the backup QB this season but if Rodgers falters and Brohm gets an opportunity, he may not look back. Brohm will at least push Rodgers this season and beyond, and the Packers organization will be the better for it. Of course, Rodgers has also shown to be fairly injury-prone, so Brohm could see the field in that scenario as well.
