2007 Game Summaries

Week 2 - Boss' only target came on a short Anthony Wright pass late in the fourth quarter that fell incomplete.

Week 15 - Boss came in as the primary receiving tight end after Shockey got hurt, and ended up catching the only touchdown of the night for the Giants. He showed he is a very big target with good hands.

Week 16 - Boss did not see any action in the limited Giants' passing attack.

Week 17 - Starting for the injured Jeremy Shockey, Kevin Boss caught four passes for 50 yards, and a touchdown. Boss showed some big play ability, as Eli Manning found him for catches of 17 and 23 yards. He caught his three yard touchdown short over the middle in the second quarter, and strangely all of his five targets were in the same quarter.

Week 18 - Boss was targeted four times and came down with two receptions for 14 yards. One of his receptions resulted in a New York first down.

Week 19 - Boss caught one of his targets for a nice 19 yard gain. He was targeted in the end zone on his other look.

Week 20 - Kevin Boss caught one pass for 12 yards, coming on the Giants first pass of the game. He did not make an impact in the passing game from that point going forward. One of his targets was down the right side of the endzone, but the defender was able to knock the ball out of his hands, making the Giants settle for a field goal.

Week 21 - Boss only caught one of the two balls thrown his way, but the one he caught ended up being a 45 yard route up the middle where he beat a linebacker, which led to a passing touchdown to David Tyree on an 80 yard drive.
