Outlook
After being drafted in the 5th round of the 2006 draft, Anderson had an incredible rookie season with 12.5 sacks despite playing mostly as a pass rush specialist. Last year, the Bears moved him into the starting lineup but he struggled badly with the additional playing time and finished with only 4.5 sacks. Anderson is an undersized player who gets worn down trying to defend the run. The Bears will likely move to more of a platoon situation this year with Alex Brown playing on early downs and Anderson playing in all passing situations. His sack total should improve to the 6-8 range and he'll likely wind up as a quality backup in most leagues.
