Outlook
Gerald Alexander had a solid rookie year for the Lions, finishing with 81 tackles, two interceptions and six passes defended. Alexander was not expected to play as much as he did last year, but a season-ending injury to Daniel Bullocks gave Alexander the opportunity to play a lot as a rookie and he made the most of it. He is versatile enough to play either safety spot as well as CB in the nickel and dime packages. If Alexander keeps his starting free safety job, he could be a solid low end starting fantasy DB.
