Week 2 vs. IND

Rushing: 2 / 15 / 0
Receiving: 1 / 5 / 0 on 1 targets

D.J Ware has always looked like a nice player at RB for the Giants, but was only given carries during garbage time in the 4th quarter. He just isn't getting enough of a workload and won't unless Bradshaw goes down or perhaps more likely, Jacobs is traded

Week 9 vs. SEA

Rushing: 13 / 66 / 0

Ware came in for the fourth quarter, with a huge lead. He was running against a defense that knew he was coming, each and every time, and still managed to move the chains. He showed both elusiveness, somehow squirting through a clogged up middle for a few extra yards, and power, which usually gaining positive yardage. Ware even converted a 4th and 4 up the middle, and at one point gained about 5 yards while being gang tackled by seven defenders. He took the ball on 11 of 12 plays, all the way down to the Seahawks 6 yard line, on the Giants final drive, where they finally kneeled to end the game.

Week 12 vs. JAX

Receiving: 1 / 7 / 0 on 1 targets

Ware was the target of one reception, a short pass, in the third quarter. Otherwise, he remained a kick returner and was able to make some impact there.

Week 14 vs. MIN

Rushing: 3 / -6 / 0
Receiving: 1 / 12 / 0 on 1 targets

Ware saw time late in the 4th quarter when the Giants were looking to run out the clock. He tried to get outside with his runs and was stuffed two of the three times he carried the ball. He also had a nice catch and run for a 1st down. He is still the third string back and would only see time if Brandon Jacobs or Ahmad Bradshaw were hurt.
