Week 1 vs. OAK

Rushing: 5 / 33 / 1

Ringer looked good on his 15 yard TD run. If he gets red zone carries going forward, he'll have some fantasy value, but it's hard to see the Titans taking out Chris Johnson too often in that field position. He confirms his worth as a handcuff to Johnson, though.

Week 2 vs. PIT

Rushing: 2 / 1 / 0

Ringer's only action came after Johnson broke a long gain for an 85 yard TD run. It was called back and Johnson was taken out of the game to rest. Ringer had two short carries and he was stuffed both times.

Week 3 vs. NYG

Rushing: 6 / 30 / 0

Ringer was brought in sparingly to spell Johnson and when the game was taken care of. When the important carries were being had on the goal line and on third downs, Johnson was favoured. Ringer had a productive day considering the low workload given, but it is really tough to analyze his performance as a whole. He gained his yards with large running lanes available due to lack of respect for his running ability.

Week 4 vs. DEN

Rushing: 2 / 50 / 0

Ringer's numbers look good, but are somewhat misleading. His

big 54 yard run was aided by perfect blocking and execution, leading

to a hole so large it would make Chris Johnson jealous immediately. He

did little else in the game and was too hampered by the same things as

Johnson on the ground but with a much lighter workload.

Week 5 vs. DAL

Rushing: 4 / 5 / 0
Receiving: 1 / 9 / 0 on 1 targets

Ringer was utilized to spell Chris Johnson on one series in the second quarter and one play in the fourth quarter. Ringer was given the ball on four straight plays and generated thirteen yards and one first down during the series. Ringer ran hard on all of his carries but had the most success running to the right side behind tackle Michael Roos. Ringer finished the day with two receptions, one more then Chris Johnson.

Week 6 vs. JAX

Rushing: 10 / 42 / 0
Receiving: 1 / 8 / 0 on 1 targets

Ringer entered the game here and there to spell Johnson and provided a nice boost. He showed good vision on his first carry that went for 7 yards. He ran hard straight ahead and showed speed to get the outside. He got all the work for one drive in the third quarter and was used in combination with CJ to control the ball and run out the clock.

Week 7 vs. PHI

Rushing: 2 / 9 / 0

Javon Ringer had just two carries against Philadelphia for a modest nine yards (four and five yards, respectively). Ringer has value only as Chris Johnson's handcuff

Week 8 vs. SD

Rushing: 2 / 3 / 0

Ringer had just two touches in the game, the first coming on a short inside run in the first half and the second on a third and 1 run late in the first half. He was stuffed for a loss on the play, and didn't see another look the rest of the way.

Week 10 vs. MIA

Rushing: 6 / 4 / 0
Receiving: 1 / 4 / 0 on 1 targets

Ringer received 6 carries in this game, and didn't do much with them. His pre-season exploits haven't carried over into game action much. He could be a very valuable weapon as a guy who gives CJ relief and still runs effectively. However the Dolphins shut him down, albeit on very limited carries.

Week 12 vs. HOU

Rushing: 4 / 27 / 0
Receiving: 1 / 4 / 0 on 1 targets

Javon Ringer was the lone bright spot in the Titans' offensive performance on Sunday against the Texans. Ringer was responsible for the Titans' second longest play from scrimmage. On the play, he took the handoff off tackle to the left, broke through the line, and evaded two linebackers on the way to a 17 yard gain and first down. His other three carries averaged over 3 yards each as well, besting the effot by Chris Johnson. Ringer is still being utilized as a change of pace from Chris Johnson but entered this game after Johnson tweaked his ankle.

Week 13 vs. JAX

Receiving: 1 / 4 / 0 on 1 targets

Ringer spelled CJ for a couple of plays this week, managing to snag a short screen pass in the process.

Week 15 vs. HOU

Rushing: 4 / 19 / 1

Ringer's touchdown run was vultured, as Chris Johnson brought the ball 42 yards down to the 8 yard line and then took a breather --- but the touchdown itself was earned. Ringer only had four carries, but he ran with authority each time, leaving a simple reminder that if ever given the opportunity, he could produce well in this offense.
