Week 10 vs. DET

Jones was the slot receiver in place of Roscoe Parrish, who is out for the season. He got downfield for a good catch early on, but he and Fitzpatrick couldn't hook up again after that. He could have marginal value when Fitzpatrick is pressed into throwing 45-50 passes again, but he didn't show anything to indicate that he could be an under-the-radar quality receiver a la Seyi Ajirotutu.

Week 11 vs. CIN

Rushing: 1 / 1 / 0
Receiving: 5 / 70 / 1 on 5 targets

Who? Did anyone know who this guy was? A rookie out of Youngstown St, Jones exploded onto the scene against Cincy, as he caught a WR screen pass and burst up the field for a walk-in TD in the first half. He then made a number of big catches in the 2nd half for Buffalo. Jones has very nice speed, and also has some size on him, as he looks to have a build somewhat between a WR and a RB. Not sure if he will find his way into the gameplan in future weeks or not, as the Bills were spreading it wide and getting the ball out quickly in the 2nd half, but his name is now definitely on the radar.

Week 12 vs. PIT

Receiving: 2 / 17 / 0 on 8 targets

Jones was the recipient of the work that Roscoe Parrish was receiving before going on IR a couple weeks back. He's a slot receiver with plenty of room for improvement, but on a team with so many young players and a bad record, there's time for him to grow. He's 6'0" and 214 lbs, so he has NFL size. Now it's a matter of work ethic and trying to emerge as a weapon. It would seem that he's better suited for the outside, but there just isn't room for that on this team with Evans and Johnson. If Jones performs in the offseason, perhaps Buffalo might be well-suited to use Evans in a slot role and let the taller Jones and Johnson work the outside.

Week 14 vs. CLE

Rushing: 1 / -2 / 0
Receiving: 2 / 14 / 0 on 3 targets

The rookie made a couple short receptions, but wasn't much of a

factor on this cold, wet day.

Week 16 vs. NE

Receiving: 5 / 54 / 0 on 12 targets

For as many targets as he got on Sunday he didn't really do a whole lot with them. He is young and raw. The Patriots were fine with giving him a few underneath looks but they didn't allow for him to get deep often plus Fitzpatrick was off the mark most of the afternoon.
