Receiving: 1 / 19 / 0 on 2 targets
Ginn mainly returned kicks, but had one decent chance on a long pass near the goal line. He looked to have a step on his man, but the ball was underthrown. Just after that, he made a nice catch over the middle, but hurt his knee on the play and left the game.
Receiving: 2 / 26 / 0 on 3 targets
Ted Ginn is still well down on the depth chart for the 49ers, serving as the fourth wideout. Ginn's bigger production comes as a kick returner, where he had several long runs to give the 49ers a short field. Ginn did add two catches on three targets, including a 17-yarder in the second quarter on third and short.
Rushing: 1 / 2 / 0
Receiving: 2 / 23 / 0 on 3 targets
Ted Ginn's best catch was a quick slant from Alex Smith which was placed perfectly in stride for Ginn to run on to and use his great speed. Ginn had a few very nice kick returns in this game aswell, and his return from injury has been something of a shot in the arm for the Niners at times stagnant offense.
Receiving: 1 / 11 / 0 on 1 targets
Ginn caught a single pass against soft coverage, he made a few moves to get a 1st down on the play but was not involved offensively again on the night.
Receiving: 0 / 0 / 0 on 3 targets
Also not targeted much until the end of the day when the Niners were well behind.
Receiving: 2 / 14 / 0 on 4 targets
Ginn had a long kick return touchdown to open the second half to seemingly inject life into the Niners, but that life was short-lived. A penalty flag (away from the play) negated an electrifying jaunt down the sideline by Ginn. He made his first reception in the game soon after on a simple out route and another grab on a short slant inside, but he certainly wasn't a focal point of the offense.
Receiving: 2 / 41 / 1 on 4 targets
Ginn got free for a long TD, but still looks like a role player in the passing game - one that can stretch the field, but that's about it.
