Receiving: 1 / 20 / 0 on 3 targets
Cooper was targeted three times and managed to pull in one of those for a 20 yard haul. All of his targets came on short passes from a multiple receiver shotgun formation.
Receiving: 0 / 0 / 0 on 1 targets
Cooper saw only one target in Week 3 against Jacksonville. The second quarter pass was defended at the line and fell incomplete.
Receiving: 3 / 51 / 1 on 6 targets
Riley Cooper returned to action for the Eagles after missing time due to a concussion. Cooper helped to stretch the field, catching one great pass for 37 yards on a trick play where WR Jeremy Maclin flipped the ball to QB Kevin Kolb out of a Wildcat formation and then Cooper pulled in a deep floating pass where Cooper had to leap in front of a Titan and pull the ball down for the completion. Cooper followed that up with a short crossing route where he scored his first career touchdown. Cooper saw six targets, several of them deep, and secured the WR4 role for the Eagles going forward. If DeSean Jackson or Jeremy Maclin miss any further games, look for Cooper to be more in the mix for targets.
Receiving: 1 / 29 / 0 on 2 targets
Fourth wide receiver Riley Cooper had just two targets in Week 12, pulling one down for an attractive 29-yard gain on a leaping grab in the fourth quarter. His targets are too limited right now with him fourth on the depth chart.
Receiving: 1 / 5 / 0 on 4 targets
Riley Cooper saw more action in Week 17 with DeSean Jackson inactive and the Eagles resting Jeremy Maclin. Cooper caught just one of his four targets for a five yard gain in the third quarter. He will move back down the depth chart to fourth or fifth receiver for the postseason.
Receiving: 2 / 18 / 0 on 4 targets
Moments after making a huge 3rd down reception, Cooper had a chance to be a huge hero for Philly fans. It's hard to tell whether Vick or Cooper was at fault, but Tramon Wiliams was easily able to get inside position and intercept the ball with ease. Cooper perhaps should have been able to knock the ball away, but he is a rookie, and isn't exactly known as a bigtime redzone threat, so it was probably a pass that Vick shouldn't have made.
