Signed just before Thanksgiving, it's no shock that Clayton was not a large portion of the offense. It may take a while for him to get up to speed and by then, Hakeem Nicks or Steve smith might be back and relegate him to the bench permanently.

Clayton only had two catches but they were notable plays. Clayton's first catch was a terrific one handed grab over the middle from a wobbly and errant pass from Manning, short of the first down but still displaying his hands and concentration. Clayton was then quiet for most of the game as Manning looked elsewhere until the fourth quarter where Clayton had a clutch 3rd and long curl route catch which gave the Giants the first down and allowed them to kill more of the clock and put the game out of reach.
