Arrington had long sat on the Saints practice squad and, according to the announcers, multiple teams have tried to sign him but the Saints kept paying him better then the other teams could. He finally got his chance to start and may have secured himself a spot on the regular roster for the playoffs.

Arrington got very good separation on his routes, ran those routes crisply and was able to use his body to make a play several times. He made several good catches but really showed a little extra effort on his final catch. With the game all but over and Chase Daniel in at quarterback, Arrington took a little swing pass for nine yards, lowering his shoulder and delivering a hit to get an extra couple of yards.

With a talented group of receivers on this team, it may be hard to find room but the Saints feel good about Arrington and he if he can keep it up, he might be able to secure a spot long term.
