Ware was expected to contribute some this season to a team most known for the running attack last season in a third RB role. That plan went out the window after Ware dislocated his elbow. This does mean that Brandon Jacobs and Ahmad Bradshaw will dominate the touches until Ware is healthy again.
Rushing: 2 / 9 / 0
Ware got a few carries in the second half, and he ran hard with a physical edge between the tackles. He has the look of an RB who would be productive if he was given the touches.
Rushing: 4 / 27 / 0
Receiving: 1 / -4 / 0 on 1 targets
Danny Ware, now going by DJ, showed some flashes of speed on his few touches in Week 12. Ware had an up and down night, fumbling the ball early before finally picking up 14 yards on a third and short toss play in the third quarter for his biggest play of the night. He later was forced out of the game due to a concussion.
Rushing: 5 / 22 / 1
Receiving: 2 / 19 / 0 on 3 targets
Danny Ware backed up Ahmad Bradshaw in Week 17 and was able to dive in for the only Giants touchdown against Minnesota. Ware was the main ball carrier in the fourth quarter as the game was well over by that point (44-0) and both teams were clearing out their benches. Ware looked okay as a rusher but it was hard to judge his abilities in the final quarter of a blowout.
