Week 1 vs. BAL

Thigpen played one series against the Ravens in the second quarter of Week 1. Brodie Croyle was ineffective early so Thigpen came in to try and light a spark for the Chiefs. Thigpen was only given the one series and he ran once for two yards and did not attempt a pass. Odds are that, after Croyle's decent performance after returning, Thigpen will go back to QB3 status.

Week 17 vs. PIT

Thigpen, the Dolphins third QB, came in for the final quarter, relieving the injured Pat White. He started things off with a laser throw to Anthony Fasano over the middle, giving the Dolphins faithful hope for a comeback. Then he completed a beautiful bomb to Davone Bess. But his luck ended there. Terrible Decision #1: relying on Ted Ginn near the end zone. Terrible Decision #2: forcing the throw, even though two Steelers were draped all over Ginn. The play ended with the expected interception. With under a minute to play, the Dolphins had one last chance, but he made Terrible Decision #3, overthrowing the ball badly, and directly into the hands of a Steelers DB.
