Rushing: 1 / 3 / 0
Receiving: 3 / 14 / 0 on 3 targets
The Jags tried to get Miller involved with a carry on a rare TE end around, and some short catches to harness his run after catch ability, but the former option QB looked ordinary on his targets.
Receiving: 1 / 2 / 0 on 2 targets
Miller was a checkdown option, but if Marcedes Lewis continues to repel the ball at will, don't be surprised to see Garrard look for Miller more often.
Receiving: 1 / 14 / 0 on 1 targets
Miller is still a very minor part of this passing offense, but he did get his number called on a quick pass to the outside, and he looked impressive breaking some tackles on the way to a first down.
Receiving: 1 / 11 / 0 on 1 targets
Miller converted a 3rd down play on an 11 yard reception, just his 6th catch on the season.
Receiving: 1 / 10 / 0 on 1 targets
Miller made his only catch count, converting a big 3rd down late in the game. The rookie tight end is worth watching, but not fantasy worthy at this point.
Receiving: 3 / 74 / 0 on 3 targets
Miller had three catches on the day, but his afternoon-long catch of 62 yards was quite a highlight. The rookie from Nebraska-Omaha left from the right slot, and turned inside about 12 yards down field. David Garrard looked off the safety with a pump-fake and then found Miller in stride. Miller raced to the sideline and turned up field, gaining 45 yards after the catch before being brought down.
Receiving: 0 / 0 / 0 on 1 targets
The Jaguars split Miller out in the slot a number of times, particularly in the red zone. Miller was targeted twice by Garrard in the end zone. Both passes were knocked away, one incompletion was erased by penalty.
Receiving: 1 / 6 / 0 on 2 targets
Zach Miller caught one of two targets for a short six yard gain in the first quarter on a short down and out route.
Receiving: 2 / 12 / 0 on 3 targets
The once college QB converted to NFL tight end, continues to slowly be implemented into the Jags offense (adding another 2 receptions to his season total). Miller was targeted in the end zone once in the second half, but was well covered and failed to make the difficult catch. He is one of the nice young potential players with promise, in what could be a much-improved Jaguars offense next season.
Receiving: 8 / 69 / 2 on 10 targets
Miller and David Garrard were in sync from the opening quarter. Early in the game, Miller worked himself open underneath for short gains. As the game progressed, the Jaguars worked him downfield on out patterns and seam routes with success. Miller converted both red zone targets with catches in traffic in the end zone.
