Receiving: 4 / 50 / 2 on 4 targets
Jason Hill came off the bench in Week 9 as the fourth wide receiver, but he made the most of his chances against the Titans. Hill seemed to move past Isaac Bruce in this contest as he worked the 3- and 4-WR sets and was able to get open twice for two big touchdown receptions in the final minute of both halves of the game from QB Alex Smith. Hill's second half production all came late with the Titans in prevent defense, but if San Francisco starts to use three wide receivers then he becomes a much bigger fantasy contributor.
Receiving: 1 / 5 / 0 on 1 targets
Third-year wideout Jason Hill has now moved up the depth chart to WR3 for San Francisco, but their current offensive scheme does not utilize three wideouts very often. Early in Week 10, Hill grabbed his only target, a short pass to the left for just five yards on third down and six. Hill attempted to pick up the first down, diving for forward progress but fell just short of the first down. With just the one target and catch, Hill has no fantasy value right now.
Receiving: 0 / 0 / 0 on 3 targets
Jason Hill had three targets in Week 15 but was unable to catch any of them against the Eagles. Hill remains the third wide receiver for the 49ers.
