Week 1 vs. PHI
Rushing: 2 / 1 / 0
Goodson was a star in the preseason for Carolina, but he was only used as a kick returner and the third RB off of the bench late in the game. As long as Jonathan Stewart is healthy, Goodson will not be relevant from a fantasy perspective. He also lost a fumble, which won't help his bid for playing time.
Week 7 vs. BUF
Rushing: 2 / 2 / 0
Goodson got in for two carries when Jonathan Stewart left the game with a hand injury. He was sudden and elusive, but he also tried to do too much on his first carry and lost yards because of it.
Week 9 vs. NO
Receiving: 1 / 2 / 0 on 1 targets
Goodson saw the field for a handful of plays in week 9 but saw only a single target in the passing game for 2 yards.
Week 16 vs. NYG
Rushing: 5 / 2 / 0
Receiving: 1 / 13 / 0 on 1 targets
Goodson didn't get that many touches, but he did convert a key third-down deep in Giants territory to help set up a score, and he flashed a good burst and toughness when his number was called. If he develops in the offseason, DeAngelo Williams could become expendable.
Week 17 vs. NO
Rushing: 13 / 44 / 0
Goodson worked as the Panthers backup RB this week, seeing the ball a career high 13 times. Goodson saw little room early on to display his tremendous athleticism, however as the game wore on he began to see more green and broke a few runs for decent gains. He is every bit as fast as we thought he would be, but will he have a chance to put it on display next season is a crowded Carolina backfield?
