Receiving: 1 / 7 / 0 on 1 targets
Baker was supposed to be the #1 TE for the Pats, but he only had one target and catch, and Ben Watson got the important snaps in crunch time.
Receiving: 1 / 1 / 0 on 2 targets
Baker had only one target even though he was on the field almost as much as Ben Watson.
Receiving: 2 / 42 / 1 on 3 targets
Baker got open deep and Brady dropped it in perfectly for the Pats only TD through the air on the day. He is still second to Ben Watson in prominence among the TEs in the passing game.
Baker's only target on the day came on a botched fake FG attempt that might not have even converted the first down.
Receiving: 0 / 0 / 0 on 2 targets
He was used primarily as a blocker because the Patriots were very concerned about the Broncos pass rush. Baker helped Matt Light block outside linebacker Elvis Dumervil on the left side, and did a good job of stopping him for the most part. Baker did have a 3-yard reception, but it was reviewed and deemed incomplete as the ball hit the ground before he could maintain control.
Receiving: 2 / 13 / 0 on 2 targets
Backup tight end Chris Baker grabbed two short passes in Week 10 against the Colts for six and seven yards, respectively. Neither was that significant and his fantasy value is next to none.
Receiving: 2 / 32 / 1 on 2 targets
They don't call him Chris Baker the TD maker for nothing. Baker, the 2nd string TE, was the recipient of a 26-yard TD pass from Tom Brady as the offense cashed in on a 57-yard interception return to end the first quarter.
