Week 2 vs. WAS

Receiving: 1 / 19 / 1 on 1 targets

Meachem was thrown to sparingly. He seemed to be in the game in some single WR sets as well as three and four wide receiver sets. On his only target he scored a touchdown when he was left uncovered in the end zone. He is a player to watch during the next couple of weeks to see if his work load increases.

Week 3 vs. DEN

Receiving: 2 / 86 / 0 on 2 targets

Though he was only thrown to twice Meachem made his two looks count as he hauled in one for a big 74 yard gain, He was close to scores on both getting stopped at the Denver six and five yard lines.

Week 4 vs. SF

Receiving: 2 / 99 / 1 on 3 targets

Meachem's first reception was on a beautiful deep ball that he was able catch while in stride and take it all the way into the end zone. His second reception was on a flea flicker play where the ball was slightly underthrown, but on target. This reception led to the final Saints touchdown.

Week 5 vs. MIN

Receiving: 2 / 31 / 0 on 3 targets

Meachem did not see many targets. He dropped a third down catch that would have resulted in a first down early. He was the third receiver but it seemed like Brees preferred Henderson and Moore to him.

Week 7 vs. CAR

Receiving: 1 / 9 / 0 on 3 targets

The former number one draft pick is still trying to find his role in the offense. He was only targeted in the second half, but one key incompletion came on a third down play which he bobbled while going out of bounds.

Week 16 vs. DET

Rushing: 1 / 20 / 1
Receiving: 0 / 0 / 0 on 1 targets

Meachem was targeted on a deep pass. He was on of four Saints to score a rushing touchdown on a 20 yard end around.

Week 17 vs. CAR

Receiving: 3 / 36 / 1 on 5 targets

The Saints featured Meachem as the third option in the passing attack to try and gage the second year player's prospects for next season. He showed some value, catching three balls for 36 yards and a touchdown. But he was bothered by close coverage on passes thrown to the middle of the field and was seen asking an official for a pass interference call on a play where the defender made an excellent play on the ball.
