Kelly caught three short passes. Palmer targeted him deep downfield in the fourth quarter, but the pass was high and went off Kelly's fingertips for an interception.


Week 3 vs. NYG

Receiving: 4 / 22 / 0 on 5 targets

Kelly was a consistent safety valve downfield for Carson Palmer. He brought in four of his five targets for 22 yards. He caught the on mostly short routes and put his size to use as he fought for tough yards after the catch.


Week 4 vs. CLE

Receiving: 3 / 21 / 0 on 4 targets

Kelly was used underneath and caught three of the four balls thrown his way.


Week 5 vs. DAL

Receiving: 1 / 1 / 0 on 2 targets

Kelly started at TE along with Utecht and caught one short pass.


Week 7 vs. PIT

Kelly did not get any targets.


Week 8 vs. HOU

Receiving: 4 / 34 / 0 on 4 targets

Kelly caught all four balls thrown his way for 34 yards.


Week 9 vs. JAX

Receiving: 2 / 8 / 0 on 2 targets

Kelly was used as an outlet receiver on two short throws and mostly for his blocking.


Week 12 vs. PIT

Receiving: 3 / 41 / 0 on 3 targets

Kelly had Cincinnati's longest pass play in the game with a nice catch in traffic for 31 yards late in the game. He finished as the Bengals leading receiver in the game.


Week 13 vs. BAL

Receiving: 1 / 8 / 0 on 5 targets

Kelly appeared to stop his route that led to the Ravens interception that went for a touchdown. He was only able to catch one ball for eight yards and was not used as a primary read.


Week 14 vs. IND

Receiving: 3 / 7 / 0 on 4 targets

Kelly was only used as a last option in the passing game.


Week 15 vs. WAS

Receiving: 1 / 3 / 0 on 1 targets

Though he started the game at TE, Kelly saw only a single target in the game, and while he caught it, it went for only three yards.
