Flynn made his first appearance in a regular season game in the fourth quarter when he went in for the injured Aaron Rodgers. Rodgers eventually returned, but Flynn also quarterbacked the final Green Bay drive after Tampa Bay went up by two scores late in the fourth quarter. He completed the first regular season pass of his career to RB Brandon Jackson.
