Late in the fourth, Boss caught a two yard touchdown to put the Giants ahead. Boss was wide open, as the Steelers were probably expecting a running play.

Week 9 vs. DAL

Receiving: 3 / 30 / 1 on 4 targets

Kevin Boss played a key role during the opening drive as he was involved on the first and last play of the drive. He proved to be a reliable target for Manning as the two seemed to be on the same page during the drive. After the initial drive he was rarely used as the Giants seemed to be content with running the ball.

Week 10 vs. PHI

Receiving: 6 / 69 / 1 on 9 targets

Four of Boss' six catches went for longer gains of 12, 13, 17, and 22 yards and his one yard touchdown catch in the second quarter put the Giants up 17---7. He had another target in the end zone later in the game, but the tight end dropped a catchable pass. Boss showed his athleticism on his final reception when after catching the ball, he hurdled a would be tackler, and picked up another six yards.

Week 14 vs. PHI

Receiving: 1 / 5 / 0 on 3 targets

Boss was used sparingly in the passing game, seeing only four looks come his way and catching only one pass. His five yard total was the lowest since week 11 as Boss was a key target for the Philadelphia defense with Plaxico Burress out.
