Week 6 vs. ARI

Bennett dropped the only pass thrown his way. Had he been able to hold on to the ball he had an open path to the end zone.

Week 7 vs. STL

The rookie second round draft pick was the top yardage receiver on the day with 67 yards and he caught his first career TD. This TD came in the fourth quarter facing the Rams prevent defense.

Week 8 vs. TB

Receiving: 3 / 21 / 0 on 3 targets

Filling in for the injured Jason Witten, Bennett was able to catch all three balls thrown in his direction. His first reception was a ten yard catch on a third and nine play that gave the Cowboys a key first down on their first scoring drive.

Week 9 vs. NYG

Receiving: 3 / 36 / 0 on 4 targets

Bennett rotated in with injured tight end Jason Witten and managed three receptions. One of the receptions came on a tipped ball that was originally intended for Patrick Crayton. He is a hard runner to bring down after the catch and he fought for extra yards that got the team close to first down yardage on two of his receptions.

Week 11 vs. WAS

Receiving: 1 / 25 / 1 on 1 targets

A couple of plays following a rare Jason Witten drop, the rookie Bennett made a tough catch in traffic for a 25 yard touchdown. It was a pretty play.

Week 12 vs. SF

Receiving: 1 / 1 / 1 on 1 targets

Bennett made the most of his one target as he scored on a short touchdown reception just before halftime.

Week 13 vs. SEA

Receiving: 2 / 35 / 1 on 2 targets

While he was clearly the second choice at TE for QB Tony Romo, Bennett still demonstrated that he can be a valuable part of this offense. On no play was this better demonstrated than his first quarter TD where he was able to get open as Romo ran a right bootleg and haul in the 19 yard pass.

Week 15 vs. NYG

Receiving: 1 / 8 / 0 on 1 targets

Bennett had his only reception on a screen pass in the third quarter that went for a gain of eight yards.
