Week 1 vs. BAL

Receiving: 1 / 13 / 0 on 1 targets

Kelly also started at TE (the Bengals opened with a two TE set but frequently used three WRs) and caught the only pass thrown in his direction. Kelly was also called for holding in the first quarter.

Week 2 vs. CLE

Receiving: 1 / 8 / 0 on 3 targets

Kelly was largely a non-factor in the game catching only one pass for eight yards. He was largely a safety outlet, one that Palmer would only look to if all his receivers and Rudi Johnson was covered.

Week 3 vs. SEA

Receiving: 1 / 4 / 0 on 1 targets

Hardly used as a receiver, but his one catch was a nice one.

Week 4 vs. NE

Receiving: 2 / 41 / 0 on 3 targets

Kelly caught his first pass of the night in the third quarter on 21 yard completion that led to a first down. He would get another big catch for 20 yards in the fourth quarter. He matched his number of catches for the season coming into this game by catching two balls.

Week 6 vs. KC

Receiving: 3 / 45 / 0 on 4 targets

Kelly caught three of the four balls thrown his way. Due to the pressure the Kansas City defense, he was forced to stay in and block fairly often.

Week 7 vs. NYJ

Receiving: 0 / 0 / 0 on 1 targets

Kelly was targeted on a deep out. He was mostly used for blocking when he was in, but Glenn Holt took a lot of his playing time.

Week 8 vs. PIT

Receiving: 1 / 5 / 0 on 1 targets

Kelly did not see much playing time during the game, and caught the only ball thrown his way for a short gain.

Week 9 vs. BUF

Receiving: 2 / 15 / 0 on 2 targets

Kelly only had two targets and caught both balls for 15 yards on the day. It seemed like Daniel Coats took some of his playing time in the second half and it was unclear why this occurred.

Week 12 vs. TEN

Receiving: 3 / 35 / 0 on 3 targets

Kelly was only used as a fourth option as the game plan focused on getting the ball to the playmaking receivers.

Week 13 vs. PIT

Receiving: 1 / 8 / 0 on 1 targets

Kelly's only reception came in the second quarter and went for seven yards. His effort to stretch the ball out as he was going down resulted in a first down.

Week 14 vs. STL

Receiving: 1 / 3 / 0 on 1 targets

The tight end caught one short pass, but was used primarily as a blocker.

Week 16 vs. CLE

Receiving: 1 / 24 / 0 on 1 targets

Kelly was a non factor in the game, catching only one pass for 24 yards.

Week 17 vs. MIA

Receiving: 2 / 7 / 0 on 2 targets

Kelly had one catch for two yards in the first half and another catch for five yards in the second half.
