Week 2 vs. NO

Receiving: 1 / 13 / 0 on 3 targets

Targeted late in the game with it well in hand. He made a nice catch and then threw the ball out of bounds to stop the clock which was pretty heads up.

Week 3 vs. GB

Receiving: 1 / 17 / 0 on 1 targets

Hurd had just one catch on one target in this game, but it was a nice 17 yard square in over the middle. Cutler zipped the ball into Hurd who was pretty well covered, but the defender dove for the ball and missed it, allowing Hurd to make a nice catch and turn up field for a big 17 yard gain. It eventually led to Chicago's first TD.

Week 5 vs. DET

Receiving: 4 / 50 / 0 on 5 targets

First catch of the night was a simple out pattern for about 8 yards and he was lined up in a 4 receiver set to the far right side. Hurd later on came form the far left side on a drag route where Cutler was scrambling. While other WRs were just standing and watching Cutler scramble, Hurd decided to keep running across the field and got open for Cutler to fire it in and make a crucial 1st down. Hurd is worth a look as the Bears don't have a lot of talent right now at WR. Once Earl Bennett returns things will get crowded.

Week 10 vs. DET

Receiving: 1 / 21 / 0 on 1 targets

Hurd came in just before half time, and hauled in a nice 21 yard reception on a deep crossing route over the middle. He was also 'targeted' a couple plays later on what turned out to be the most bizarre play of the day. Cutler was under pressure and as the pocket collapsed, he tried to swing the ball to Hurd on the sideline. However, it was knocked out of his hand as he was cocking his arm, and he ended up pushing the ball with his fore-arm in the general direction of Hurd. It flew quite a distance before landing incomplete, and neither the Bears, nor the Lions moved to pick it up. However, the play was ruled a fumble after review and since a fumble cannot be advanced, the ball was placed at the spot where Cutler 'threw' it from, resulting in a 10 yard sack.

Week 13 vs. KC

Receiving: 0 / 0 / 0 on 2 targets

Hurd was targeted on only one pass for the game --- a deep crossing route. However, Hanie threw the ball too far out of his reach and he couldn't come up with it.
