Steve Holloway says: Aaron Dobson was a 2nd round selection by the Patriots and although their offense typically challenges all newcomers and particularly rookies, he has an open path to getting playing time. The team has very little in the way of outside receivers and his 6’-3” 210 pound frame seems to be a good fit. He ran a 4.42 forty yard dash at his pro day so he has decent speed as well. He impressed most scouts at the Senior Bowl practices, so it really comes down to whether he can pick up the play book and make a connection with Tom Brady. His athleticism alone seems enough for him to get a shot.
