| 1 | Aaron Rodgers | GB | show |
[Jun 6th] Andrew Garda says: There's a lot to like about Rodgers, even if he gets sacked a ton. While Rodgers won't put up as many yards as Matt Stafford or Drew Brees, he'll usually score more touchdowns and make less mistakes. Rodgers is tough as nails and won't miss time, so you can wait on a second quarterbackand instead fill up other positions with value. The Packers just keep adding weapons to the offense and while Greg Jennings has left, he leaves behind a terrific trio of Jordy Nelson, Randall Cobb and James Jones. Hopefully the offensive line pulls itself together and the running backs they just drafted are good enough to keep the defense from teeing off on Rodgers, but regardless, Rodgers will continue to put up big numbers no matter how hot it gets in the pocket.

| 2 | Drew Brees | NO | show |
[Jun 8th] Andrew Garda says: Drew Brees throws the ball more often and for more yards than almost any other quarterback and he's almost never hurt. That consistency and output make him a solid choice early in fantasy drafts. Brees has thrown for over 4,000 yards seven straight season and more than 5,000 yards three times. During the last two years, he has thrown 89 touchdowns against just 33 interceptions. The Saints have a lot they want to prove after a poor season, and Brees will lead the way. So expect another year of the same old, same old.

| 3 | Tom Brady | NE | show |
[Jun 10th] Andrew Garda says: Every once in a while I hear someone say that Tom Brady is slowing down. Well, if two 4,000-yard seasons in a row and three consecutive 30-plus touchdown seasons is slowing down, I'd like to know what speeding up looks like. Losing Wes Welker hurts, but Danny Amendola could prove to be a younger, better version of Welker. He just needs to stay healthy. Speaking of health, Brady has to be concerned that both his tight ends are banged up, with Gronkowski needing back surgery during June. All this might make the start of Brady's season a bit shaky, but in the end, he has always made the receivers around him better than they made him.
Owners shouldn't worry much about it, and Brady will carry more than one team to the fantasy championship.

| 4 | Philip Rivers | SD | show |
[Jun 6th] Andrew Garda says: Philip Rivers has a new coach in Mike McCoy—a guy who was able to shift his offensive plan from Kyle Orton to Tim Tebow to Peyton Manning. There is no sugar-coating it—Rivers was flat out awful at times the last few years. While some of that is him, more of it is the terrible job former general manager AJ Smith did in getting Rivers help and former coach Norv Turner's failure in maximizing what they had. I expect this to be a bounce-back year for Rivers but I wouldn't bet my farm on it—maybe your farm though. If it clicks, Rivers should start to climb back into the upper tier of quarterbacks he flirted with for a few years before the collapse.

| 5 | Ben Roethlisberger | PIT | show |
[Jun 10th] Andrew Garda says: The Steelers are trying to fix the offensive line, get a decent run game together and overcome the loss of Mike Wallace. Roethlisberger still has Antonio Brown and Emmanuel Sanders to throw to, as well as rookie Marcus Wheaton. The big question is whether "Big Ben" can get more comfortable in offensive coordinator Todd Haley's offense, which is filled with short passes that aren't Roethlisberger's cup of tea. Expect him to adjust and find a way to utilize the receivers and new running back Le'Veon Bell as well.

| 6 | Cam Newton | CAR | show |
[Jun 10th] Andrew Garda says: People downplay what Cam Newton has done (I've been one of them at times), but it's really worth noting. Towards the end of last year, Newton found his stride, compiling 11 touchdowns against just 2 INTs in the last 7 games. He also had four rushing touchdowns in that time. That's pretty effective. The team is working to make the offense quicker and more uptempo. In order to do this, they are simplifying things, especially terminology. I was never a fan of Rob Chudzinski's offense (sorry Browns fans), and Newton had a lot of improvement when Mike Shula was his quarterback coach last season. Now that Shula is his coordinator, I expect Newton to be more consistent in his productivity and have his best year yet.

| 7 | Tony Romo | DAL | show |
[Jun 6th] Andrew Garda says: Romo has the weapons and the money—now he needs the Super Bowl. After his owner made some comments about focus and work ethic, I expect Romo to come in focused and ready to justify his massive contract. Last season saw too many interceptions (19) and sacks (32). The Cowboys didn't do enough in the offseason to give Romo the time he needs to really make a dent in the interception numbers so that's going to hurt his value in some leagues. Overall though, I expect solid numbers from him—enough to make him a decent QB1 for most teams.

| 8 | Matthew Stafford | DET | show |
[Jun 10th] Andrew Garda says: Let's start here: I fully expect Matt Stafford's yardage totals to go down in 2013. Which still leaves him as one of the most prolific passers in the NFL and a pretty darn good fantasy quarterback. The fact is that with the improvement on the defensive side of the ball, as well as the addition of Reggie Bush and what I hope to be a much more effective ground game, Stafford isn't going to have to throw the ball as much. That said, he's going to top 4,000 yards again this season. Where Stafford can really improve is increasing his touchdown totals and decreasing his interceptions. A healthy Ryan Broyles and Nate Burleson should help clear things out for Calvin Johnson and help Stafford find the end zone more frequently. If he can cut down on the mistakes and keep the offense moving, he should be a good starting fantasy quarterback with upside.

| 9 | Matt Ryan | ATL | show |
[Jun 10th] Andrew Garda says: With career highs in total yards, touchdowns and passing attempts, Matt Ryan finally took advantage of having Julio Jones, Roddy White and Tony Gonzalez at his disposal. He gets Gonzalez for one more year, and a more functional running game with the arrival of Steven Jackson. Ryan has been in the top 10 fantasy quarterbacks for the last three years and that trend should continue. While not among the "elite" fantasy quarterbacks, he is consistently among the best and is an excellent starter for any fantasy team.

| 10 | Michael Vick | PHI | show |
[Jun 10th] Andrew Garda says: Is Vick even going to be the guy running this show? It's a toss-up how the quarterback position goes, though Vick has the most upside and polish. Foles is OK, but not a starting quarterback and Matt Barkley is best served by a year on the bench. Vick won't go 16 games, but he will put up some nice numbers off and on and paired with another QB in this range, could be a great add to a QBBC.

| 11 | Eli Manning | NYG | show |
[Jun 6th] Andrew Garda says: Here is a situation which just goes to show you that being great in the NFL doesn't always mean being great in fantasy. Manning is certainly a fantastic quarterback in real life, but can be a bit underwhelming in fantasy circles. He just doesn't get you the huge points you need and is prone to mistakes which can cost you fantasy points. He's streaky both within a game and over the course of the season. That said, he's solid overall and has enough production to start for teams willing to wait and stock up on quarterbacks later.

| 12 | Matt Schaub | HOU | show |
[Jun 10th] Andrew Garda says: Schaub is who he is - a decent quarterback who can put up OK numbers on a semi-regular basis. he's also leading an offense which gravitated to a ground based attack last season so while he has Andre Johnson, Owen Daniels and DeAndre Hopkins, he still could be hampered by his own offense. There is also the question of his long term place in Houston. If they continually get ousted early in the playoffs at some point fingers will point to Schaub.

| 13 | Peyton Manning | DEN | show |
[Jun 10th] Andrew Garda says: Peyton Manning had the second highest yardage and touchdown totals of his career in 2012, and it could actually get even better in 2013 now that Wes Welker has arrived.
Along with Welker, the Broncos added more offensive-line help and rookie Montee Ball to round out the ground game (and protect the team from another Willis McGahee injury).
The Broncos are likely to use a lot of three-wide receiver sets and keep the huddles to a minimum. This will make it tougher for defenses to key on any one receiver, much less Manning himself.
Fantasy owners may still feel hesitant about him due to the neck issues, but they shouldn't. It's easy to see he is far past that concern.

| 14 | Jay Cutler | CHI | show |
[Jun 6th] Andrew Garda says: Cutler could fly up this board if I like what I see when we hit training camp. I'm pretty bullish on the Cutler-Trestman marriage and the Bears upgraded the offensive line (finally). Cutler already had Brandon Marshall, Alshon Jeffery, and Matt Forte but now added Martellus Bennett to the mix—the makings of a very scary offense. Trestman wants an uptempo offense to help keep Cutler vertical a which will only help his production. Cutler isn't as stable as quarterbacks I have higher, but he has tremendous upside this year.

| 15 | Joe Flacco | BAL | show |
[Jun 10th] Andrew Garda says: Elite quarterback or not, Joe Flacco isn't an elite fantasy quarterback nor is it likely he'll become one this year. He has some very good tools and can use them to win games but he won't put up excellent fantasy points. He can serve as a decent low end QB1 or a solid backup though.

| 16 | Sam Bradford | STL | show |
[Jun 10th] Andrew Garda says: Bradford has played all right, given the weapon he had - or rather didn't have. The Rams took great pains to get him some new weapons - Tavon Austin and Stedman Bailey to join Chris Givens an Brian Quick. Now its up to Bradford to make them work. While the receivers may finally have some skill, they are also a young group and might take some time to get going. So Bradford might have some success, but it won't be enough to make him a consistent fantasy starter.

| 17 | Carson Palmer | ARI | |
| 18 | Josh Freeman | TB | show |
[Jun 10th] Andrew Garda says: Freeman has two great receiving threats (Vincent Jackson and Mike Williams) and a fantastic running back (Doug Martin). The one thing he's out of? Excuses. With Mike Glennon drafted and Dan Orlovsky in town, Tampa has option. Freeman has played well but not consistently and needs to prove himself this year. He'll do well enough to spot start or play as a low end QB2 but in the end, he doesn't seem to be able to take that next step.

| 19 | Mark Sanchez | NYJ | |
| 20 | Andy Dalton | CIN | show |
[Jun 6th] Andrew Garda says: Dalton is a great choice for owners who want to wait on a quarterback. He's far from flashy but he won't kill you either. Dalton also has some great weapons around him which allow him to be a productive fantasy starter or part of a QBBC. He won't blow up for points often but will be consistent and reliable. Dalton's ceiling is pretty limited though. A good choice for the risk averse.

| 21 | Tim Tebow | ||
| 22 | Christian Ponder | MIN | show |
[Jun 11th] Andrew Garda says: I'm not sold on Ponder - he has the weapons he allegedly needed in Greg Jennings an Cordarelle Patterson - but can he use them? I just broke down every pass from last year and he rarely threw long an rarely with accuracy. But it's a chicken or the egg, is he not throwing long because he had no weapons or didn't have weapons because he can't throw long. I think it's the first more than the second but he's still not a guy i want to draft if I can help it. That said, he is a clear starter and unless you're going to throw a pick away on someone who could, maybe possibly, have a shot at a starting job at some point this season - well I'd rather have a starter than a prayer and good intentions.

| 23 | Alex Smith | KC | |
| 24 | Jake Locker | TEN | show |
[Jun 10th] Andrew Garda says: Tennessee is trying to put together weapons for Locker, as well as fix the offensive line. After two years of Locker being hurt in part because of that offensive line, adding Chance Warmack in the draft and Andy Levitre in free agency should help. If Kenny Britt and Kendall Wright can consistently get open and Chris Johnson play well on a regular basis, Locker might finally become a decent QB2. It has it's risks though, and Locker is just as likely to disappoint.

| 30 | Matt Cassel | MIN | |
| 31 | Matt Hasselbeck | IND | |
| 32 | Matt Moore | MIA | |
| 33 | Colin Kaepernick | SF | show |
[Jun 10th] Andrew Garda says: When Kaepernick stepped in for an injured Alex Smith, few realized how different the offense would function or how far the team would go. A year later and Kaepernick is the undisputed starter and primed for another great season. Kaepernick showed he can throw from the pocket just as effectively as he runs the read-option. Also, his build and willingness to get out of bounds makes him less of an injury risk than some of the other option quarterbacks. His value took a hit when Michael Crabtree went down with an injury recently, but he still has plenty of weapons to lean on.
