Sanu fantasy outlook (show / hide)
Outlook: Cincinnati drafted Mohamed Sanu last season after a very versatile college career. Sanu did it all in college. As a freshman, he caught 51 passes and ran 62 times, mostly from the "wildcat" quarterback position. He also threw seven passes, one connecting for a touchdown. As a sophomore, the reception/rush attempt split was 44/59, and Sanu was 6/9 passing with three touchdowns. As a junior, however, Sanu blossomed into a true receiver, catching 115 passes in 13 games. His skills as a possession receiver compliment the electric downfield abilities of A.J. Green, and his versatility is a great added bonus. Sanu can do many things to keep a defense on its heels. Last season, he threw a 73-yard touchdown pass on a deep post route to Green that was right on the money. His development should lead to a higher focus on the passing attack for Cincinnati after being very balanced for quarterback Andy Dalton's first two seasons.
