TEN - Kenny Britt ready for big season? -
Tennessee Titans WR Kenny Britt has gotten serious this offseason, training in California, and showing up for the start of the offseason program in good shape, impressive coaches and teammates. Britt had multiple knee surgeries last offseason, but he has not had any operations this season, and that could be a springboard to big season.
TEN - Offensive line jobs up for grabs -
The Tennessee Titans have a new-look offensive line, and there are some position battles to watch during training camp and the preseason. One key battle will be C Fernando Velasco against draft pick C Brian Schwenke. OG Chance Warmack is expected to win the right guard job next to OT David Stewart, and newcomer OG Andy Levitre and OT Michael Roos are expected to comprise the left side of the line.
TEN - Kendall Wright looking for make bigger plays -
Tennessee Titans WR Kendall Wright said he wants to make bigger plays on offense this season and believes a full offseason with the team will help him. He averaged only 9.8 yards per catch last season.
Footballguys view: Wright was a big play weapon in college at Baylor. He should be able to establish better chemistry with Jake Locker this offseason. That alone could help him put up better numbers in year two of his career.
TEN - Brandon Barden's DUI charge dropped -
The driving under the influence charge against Tennessee Titans TE Brandon Barden has been dropped after the arresting officer failed to appear for a court hearing.
TEN - Jake Locker ready to throw -
Tennessee Titans QB Jake Locker (shoulder) will be ready to throw without limitations during organized team activities that start next week. He underwent surgery around 20 weeks ago to fix his non-throwing shoulder that popped out of join multiple times last year. The team will be installing a run-first offense this year under offensive coordinator Dowell Loggains. 'He plays sometimes with a linebacker mentality, and I know it's sometimes for the effect. He wants his teammates to see how tough he is, but he needs to learn to take care of himself. You know his speed and the ability to run and throw on the run is something we want to take advantage of,' Loggains said.
Footballguys view: Good news for Locker and the Titans here. It's a make or break season for him and he has to stay healthy and prove that he can be the franchise QB the team envisioned when they selected him in the first-round of the 2011 NFL draft.
TEN - Antonio Johnson terms -
The Tennessee Titans signed DT Antonio Johnson to a one-year deal worth $850,000. He has an $800,000 base salary and a $50,000 roster bonus.

TEN - Alvester Alexander signs -
The Tennessee Titans signed RB Alvester Alexander to a two-year deal worth $900,000. He has salaries of $405,000 and $495,000 with no signing bonus.
Footballguys view: Alexander is a good all-purpose running back who can contribute as a runner or receiver out of the backfield. He can also help on special teams. Even in super deep dynasty leagues Alexander has low fantasy value.
TEN - Meet with two linemen -
The Tennessee Titans met with free-agent OT Winston Justice (Colts) and OG Antoine Caldwell (Texans) Monday, May 20.
TEN - Think they can do more with Delanie Walker -
The Tennessee Titans believe they will be able to do more with TE Delanie Walker this season than what they did with TE Jared Cook last season. The team believes Walker can line up on the outside but also be an inline blocker in the running game and run more traditional tight end routes.
Footballguys view: Walker is a versatile player who can be create mismatches when he's on the field. He needs to get over the dropsies as sometimes his concentration wanes as a receiver. He had six drops in 2012 and a dropped 18.2 percent of his targets last year.
TEN - Trial for Moise Fokou set for October 22 -
Tennessee Titans LB Moise Fokou was arrested in Washington and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol or a drug. The allegations only concern the use of alcohol, and he pled not guilty. The incident occurred in January, and the case is scheduled to go to trial October 22.
TEN - Kendall Wright drops weight -
Tennessee Titans WR Kendall Wright said he has dropped around 14 pounds since joining the team last season by working out and changing his eating habits.
Footballguys view: Wright should be even more explosive this year. In 2012 as a rookie Wright finished as the 55th best WR in fantasy football. If he continues to develop he could break into the top 40. His current ADP is WR57 and he's coming off the board near the beginning of round 13.
TEN - C.J. Bailey to work out -
The Tennessee Titans will work out undrafted free-agent CB C.J. Bailey (Southern Mississippi).
TEN - Make roster moves -
The Tennessee Titans signed RB Alvester Alexander (Colts) and LB Greg M. Jones (Jaguars), and waived RB Stefphon Jefferson Wednesday, May 15.
Footballguys view: Alexander is a versatile runner who can be relied on as a receiver out of the backfield. He'll work to win a roster spot behind Chris Johnson and Shonn Greene in training camp.
TEN - Locker's shoulder 'back to normal' -
Gary Glenn, from TitansOnline.com, reports QB Jake Locker says his left shoulder 'feels like it's back to normal.'
Footballguys view: Good news for Locker here. Injuries and inconsistencies have held him back during his pro career. It's a make or break season for Locker and he needs to stay healthy and prove he can be their franchise QB. An improved O-Line, improved ground game, and added weapons in the passing game should help.
TEN - Antonio Johnson signed -
The Tennessee Titans have signed free-agent DT Antonio Johnson (Colts) to a one-year deal. Financial terms were not disclosed.
TEN - Greene the new LenDale White? -
Dan Pompei, from the National Football Post, reports the Titans plan to use free agent RB Shonn Greene like they used former Titans RB LenDale White in 2008. Greene was 100 percent on converting third and ones last year for the Jets. Chris Johnson was 66 percent for the Titans.
Footballguys view: Greene is going to be their short yardage and goalline back. In 2008 White scored 15 touchdowns while rushing the ball 200 times for 773 yards. That season Johnson burst onto the NFL scene with 251 carries 1,228 yards and nine rushing touchdowns. The Titans will try to duplicate that RBBC this year. Greene is seriously undervalued right now with an ADP of RB55. He's coming off the board in the middle of round 13. In 2008 White finished as the 19th best RB in fantasy football, while Johnson was the 11th best.

TEN - Justin Hunter looking to add some weight -
Tennessee Titans WR Justin Hunter said he would like to add seven pounds over the next month.
Footballguys view: Hunter already measures in at 6'4" 205 pounds. Adding almost 10 pounds should help him stay durable and take the beating he's going to get at the pro level.
TEN - Tom Wort fails physical -
The Tennessee Titans will not sign undrafted free-agent LB Tom Wort (hamstring) because he did not pass a physical. Wort is dealing with a hamstring injury.
TEN - Expecting top two picks to make early impact -
Tennessee Titans head coach Mike Munchak said he expects some of the team's rookies, including OG Chance Warmack and WR Justin Hunter, to make early impacts this season.
Footballguys view: Warmack will instantly upgrade the ground game and help blast open holes for Chris Johnson and Shonn Greene. Hunter gives QB Jake Locker another quality target and he'll compete for playing time behind Kenny Britt and Kendall Wright.
TEN - Marc Mariani hopes to take part in some workouts -
Tennessee Titans WR Marc Mariani (leg) said he hopes to take part in some of the offseason workouts and wants to be a full participant once training camp begins. He will have to compete for a roster spot during training camp as a wide receiver and a returner.
TEN - Delanie Walker expects to be part of passing game -
Tennessee Titans TE Delanie Walker said he expects to be a part of the passing game this season because he will be given more of an opportunity to catch passes than he received when he was with the San Francisco 49ers. Walker said he understands he has to become a more reliable target since he dropped nine passes last season. He said he would like to catch at least 70 passes in 2013.
Footballguys view: Walker moved on from the 49ers in free agency and is set to be the lead TE with the Titans. He'll compete with Taylor Thompson and Craig Stevens for the starting position. Walker is a good move TE but needs to play with better focus if he wants to play up to his potential.
TEN - Jalen Parmele signed -
The Tennessee Titans have signed free-agent RB Jalen Parmele (Jaguars). Terms of the contract were not disclosed.
Footballguys view: Parmele takes the place of Jamie Harper on the depth chart. He's a versatile player who can contribute as a runner, receiver, or return man. Parmele will compete with Darius Reynaud and Stephon Jefferson to be the team's third-string RB behind Chris Johnson and Shonn Greene.
TEN - Jamie Harper released -
The Tennessee Titans have released RB Jamie Harper.
Footballguys view: The writing was on the wall when the Titans added free agent RB Shonn Greene earlier this offseason. Harper could latch on with another team in need of a short yardage back for training camp. He's a big back with good leg drive but is limited athletically.
TEN - Robert Johnson still healing -
Tennessee Titans S Robert Johnson (Lisfranc) is at about 80 percent health right now after suffering a torn ligament and Lisfranc fracture in Week 13. He hopes to be back by the middle of OTAs in June. 'They put screws (in the foot) for that kind of injury and sometimes they leave them in there for life,' Johnson said. 'But with me, they kind of left it in for a few months and then recently took it out because the torn ligament in my foot has built back pretty well. So I'm excited.'
TEN - Warmack could be huge for ground game -
Titans first-round pick OG Chance Warmack (Alabama) was a quality addition in the first-round of the 2013 NFL draft. On runs between the left guard (Warmack) and left tackle Alabama averaged 4.2 yards before first contact and gained at least 10 yards once every 5.5 rushes.
Footballguys view: Chris Johnson's fantasy owners need to pay attention here. Warmack played every game on an Alabama offensive line that averaged 6.5 yards per carry inside the tackles on designed running plays in 2012. The Titans also added OG Andy Levitre in free agency.
TEN - No deal imminent with John Abraham -
Updating a previous report, the Tennessee Titans are interested in free-agent DE John Abraham (Falcons) but no deal is imminent at this point.
Footballguys view: There's no rush to add the veteran pass rusher right now. The Titans are interested but don't want to overpay for a player who has gotten little interest on the open market. If Tennessee doesn't add Abraham then teams like the Broncos or the Patriots could show interest.
TEN - Considering signing John Abraham -
The Tennessee Titans are considering the possibility of signing free-agent DE John Abraham (Falcons) and a deal could be completed this week.
TEN - Bernard Pollard, Michael Griffin will be starters -
Tennessee Titans SS Bernard Pollard will start at strong safety this season with FS Michael Griffin starting at free safety.
TEN - Jalen Parmele visits -
The Tennessee Titans visited with free-agent RB Jalen Parmele (Jaguars) Friday, May 3.
Footballguys view: Parmele is a versatile back who can contribute as a runner, receiver out of the backfield, and on special teams. He finally got a chance to start for the Jaguars last year towards the end of the season. Parmele compiled over 120 yards rushing over two weeks but was then lost for the season with a groin injury.
TEN - Could meet with Dwight Freeney -
The Tennessee Titans could meet with free-agent DE Dwight Freeney (Colts) at some point this offseason.
Footballguys view: The Titans could have interest in John Abraham (Falcons) if the free agent price is right. Freeney has reportedly dropped his asking price as the market was extremely cool when he wanted around $6MM per year.
TEN - John Abraham visiting -
Free-agent DE John Abraham (Falcons) is visiting the Tennessee Titans Thursday, May 2, and Friday, May 3.
Footballguys view: Abraham has gotten little interest on the open market after the Falcons released him earlier this offseason. The Broncos, Patriots, and Saints could have interest in Abraham if the price is right.
TEN - Make roster moves -
The Tennessee Titans waived WR Michael Calvin and S Suaesi Tuimaunei Wednesday, May 1.
TEN - Lavelle Hawkins to be cut -
The Tennessee Titans have informed WR Lavelle Hawkins that he will be released.
Footballguys view: Hawkins was a fourth-round pick in 2008 but never developed on the potential he showed coming out of Cal. He'll try to catch on with another team in need of veteran WR depth before camp. We wouldn't be surprised if Nate Washington is the next veteran WR to be released in Tennessee.
TEN - David Stewart injury update -
Tennessee Titans OT David Stewart should get back on the field at some point in June. "We'll probably rest it a little longer until we get the strength and motion back," Stewart said Wednesday during a stop on the Titans Caravan. "I'm not sure what they're thinking (in terms of getting back on the field), but maybe I'll work back in in June."
TEN - David Stewart unlikely to be ready for workouts -
Tennessee Titans OT David Stewart (leg) said he still needs some time in his recovery from leg surgery and likely will not be ready for the start of offseason workouts.
TEN - Antonio Johnson visited -
The Tennessee Titans visited with free-agent DT Antonio Johnson (Colts) recently.
TEN - Eric Winston not imminent -
The Tennessee Titans aren't close to a deal with free-agent OT Eric Winston (Chiefs).
Footballguys view: Winston wants a long-term deal and that may be giving teams pause. He's bounced around with two different teams over the last two years (Chiefs, Texans) but can still be a quality starter at right tackle.
TEN - Rookie WR Justin Hunter to play 'Z' position -
Paul Kuharsky, AFC South blogger for ESPN.com, reports Titans rookie WR Justin Hunter will play the 'Z' position for the team.
Footballguys view: The 'Z' receiver was manned by Nate Washington last year. We're expecting him to get traded or released sometime before training camp. Hunter is a fantastic athlete with a nice size/speed combination. He has problems with concentration at time but if focused he can dominate. Kenny Britt will play the 'X' spot, with Kendall Wright filling in at the slot.
TEN - Jason Allen visits -
The Tennessee Titans met with free-agent CB Jason Allen (Bengals) Monday, April 29.
TEN - Eric Winston visits -
The Tennessee Titans met with free-agent OT Eric Winston (Chiefs) Monday, April 29.
Footballguys view: Winston is looking for a long-term deal and may be an option for the Titans. The Dolphins and Chargers could also show interest in the veteran right tackle.
TEN - Israel Idonije visits -
The Tennessee Titans met with free-agent DL Israel Idonije (Bears) Monday, April 29.
TEN - Eugene Amano expected to be cut -
The Tennessee Titans are expected to release C Eugene Amano because he is scheduled to make $3.9 million in 2013, which is too expensive for the team.
TEN - Several may compete for center job -
Tennessee Titans C Fernando Velasco, C Brian Schwenke, OG Robert Turner and OG Chris Spencer are all expected to be candidates for the starting center job next season.
TEN - Chance Warmack expected to start -
Tennessee Titans OG Chance Warmack is expected to be the team's starting right guard next season.
Footballguys view: Warmack and premier free agent guard Andy Levitre represent a massive upgrade on the offensive line for Chris Johnson. He has tortured us over the last two seasons, but if you buy into the idea that the line was holding him back, you might have all of the reason you need to target him in the second round this year.
TEN - Two UDFAs signed -
The Tennessee Titans signed undrafted free agents PK Maikon Bonani (South Florida) and TE Jack Doyle (Western Kentucky) Saturday, April 27.
TEN - Justin Hunter selected 34th overall -
The Tennessee Titans traded up with the San Francisco 49ers and selected Tennessee WR Justin Hunter with the 34th overall pick in the 2013 NFL Draft.
Footballguys view: Hunter is a huge help for a young quarterback who needs in in Jake Locker. A player with a huge catch radius who runs a good route, but has some issues with drops and doesn't quite have the weight or strength to break tackles.
TEN - Chance Warmack selected 10th overall -
The Tennessee Titans selected Alabama OG Chance Warmack with the 10th overall pick in the 2013 NFL Draft.
Footballguys view: Tennessee needed help on the offensive line and Warmack is equally at home pass protecting as he is run blocking and will be a big help in getting this offensive line back on its feet.
