Colts | Phillip Dorsett misses practice Tue Jun 13, 11:07 PM
Indianapolis Colts WR Phillip Dorsett (undisclosed) did not participate in practice Tuesday, June 13, because of an undisclosed injury.
|Footballguys view: A first-round pick in 2015, Dorsett has failed to live up to his potential due to injuries and inconsistency. Not much is known about this injury, but let's just say it's a bit of a make-or-break year for Dorsett with the Colts. If he doesn't get it done this year, the team could easily move on with other reserve receivers for the future. Dorsett will have to beat out free agent addition Kamar Aiken for the no3 job on the depth chart behind T.Y. Hilton and Donte Moncrief.|

Seahawks | Eddie Lacy receives weight bonus Tue Jun 13, 11:00 PM
Seattle Seahawks RB Eddie Lacy received his $55,000 bonus for weighing in at 250 pounds or less Monday, June 12, according to a source.
|Footballguys view: Two weigh-ins for Lacy have led to two paydays for the big back. He's got more coming during the regular season where the team wants him playing at 245 pounds or less. If Lacy is in shape, he might get back to his 1,000-yard ways in his first season with the Seahawks.|

Chiefs | No knee problems for Justin Houston Tue Jun 13, 10:56 PM
Kansas City Chiefs LB Justin Houston said he knee is feeling good and that he is not dealing with any swelling in the knee.
|Footballguys view: Houston has been bothered by knee problems each of the last two years and has been limited to 16 games total during that time. One of the best pass rushers in the league when healthy, Houston could easily post double-digit sacks in 2017.|

Panthers | Greg Olsen looking for new deal Tue Jun 13, 10:36 PM
Carolina Panthers TE Greg Olsen hopes to receive a new deal that would pay him like one of the top tight ends in the NFL, according to sources. His $7.5 million per year average ranks seventh among tight ends in the NFL.
|Footballguys view: The Panthers need to do right by Olsen as he's one of the best in the league at his position. He's been attending minicamp, and there's no sign of a holdout coming for the veteran. At this time, the Panthers have around $15.7 million in cap space according to OverTheCap.com.|

Bengals | John Ross feeling great Tue Jun 13, 10:10 PM
Cincinnati Bengals WR John Ross (shoulder) said his surgically repaired shoulder is feeling great and expects to be ready for the start of training camp. Ross appeared to be doing some things with the receiver group during practice Tuesday, June 13, but did not have a helmet.
|Footballguys view: Ross has crazy speed and can take the top off the defense in the blink of an eye. He's more than just a one-route guy and can run multiple routes to get open and make plays. Ross will mix in as a big-play weapon for the Bengals behind superstar A.J. Green. Fantasy owners are taking him off the board at WR53 (11.12) in 12-team PPR leagues.|
Browns | DeShone Kizer works with starters Tue Jun 13, 09:52 PM
Cleveland Browns QB DeShone Kizer was the third quarterback in the rotation during drills Tuesday, June 13, but worked with the first-team offense during his snaps. Kizer has displayed excellent physical skills and is picking up the offense quickly.
|Footballguys view: Keep an eye on this situation. Kizer, the rookie from Notre Dame, is considered a potential quarterback of the future...but the future may be now with Cleveland. They don't have much in front of him on the depth chart in either Cody Kessler or Brock Osweiler. It wouldn't be a total shock to see Kizer start at some point this year.|

Baltimore Ravens TE Crockett Gillmore (hamstring) did not participate in practice Tuesday, June 13, because of a hamstring injury he suffered during organized team activities last week. Head coach John Harbaugh said Gillmore's injury is not very serious.
|Footballguys view: Gillmore has a chance at more playing time and more targets with Dennis Pitta gone. He's competing with guys like Maxx Williams and Ben Watson for the top spot on the depth chart at tight end.|

Ravens | Benjamin Watson accepts pay cut Tue Jun 13, 09:21 PM
Baltimore Ravens TE Benjamin Watson agreed to restructure his contract last week, which dropped his base salary from $3 million to $1.25 million, according a source.

Dolphins | Coach happy with Ryan Tannehill's accuracy Tue Jun 13, 09:02 PM
Miami Dolphins QB Ryan Tannehill's accuracy has been really good during offseason workouts, according to head coach Adam Gase.
|Footballguys view: In 13 games last year, Tannehill posted a career-high 67.1 percent completion rate. He's thrown 12 interceptions each of the last three years, and that's where he needs to make the most improvements. Perhaps better accuracy will help that.|

Dolphins | Jarvis Landry reports for minicamp Tue Jun 13, 08:45 PM
Miami Dolphins WR Jarvis Landry reported for the start of minicamp Tuesday, June 13, even though he is looking for a new contract. Landry would like to sign an extension before the start of training camp.
|Footballguys view: A second-round pick in 2014, Landry is entering the final year of his contract. Head coach Adam Gase has praised Landry's work ethic this offseason as he's doing the 'little things' better according to reports. Many beat writers feel there's better than a 60 percent chance Landry will get the extension he seeks before Week 1 of the regular season.|

Dolphins | Kenny Stills back on the field Tue Jun 13, 08:39 PM
Miami Dolphins WR Kenny Stills (undisclosed) participated in practice Tuesday, June 13.

Bills | LeSean McCoy misses practice Tue Jun 13, 08:19 PM
Buffalo Bills RB LeSean McCoy (illness) did not participate in practice Tuesday, June 13, because of an illness.
|Footballguys view: McCoy is set for a major workload again as the centerpiece of the Bills offense. Getting over 1,000 yards rushing and 45 or so catches is fair to project for the star back. McCoy should be a top-5 fantasy back no matter the format in 2017.|

Bills | Coach happy with Andre Holmes Tue Jun 13, 08:14 PM
Buffalo Bills WR Andre Holmes has been a standout performer on offense and special teams this offseason, according to head coach Sean McDermott.
|Footballguys view: There's not much production to mine from the Bills passing game. LeSean McCoy is the primary fantasy asset from the Bills roster with Sammy Watkins behind him in the pecking order. Holmes is competing with Corey Brown to be the no2 wideout behind Watkins, but even if he wins the job there won't be much fantasy value here.|

Seahawks | Dion Jordan had knee operation Tue Jun 13, 07:49 PM
Seattle Seahawks DE Dion Jordan (knee) underwent a cleanup procedure on his knee three weeks ago. The timetable for his return is unclear at this point.
|Footballguys view: Jordan missed all of last year due to knee problems, and the year before that he was out due to suspension. A top-5 pick in the 2013 NFL draft, Jordan has been a major bust. The Seahawks could put him on the PUP list to begin the regular season.|

Broncos | Kyle Peko has broken foot Tue Jun 13, 07:43 PM

Rams | Cooper Kupp hurt at minicamp Tue Jun 13, 07:17 PM
Los Angeles Rams WR Cooper Kupp (back) injured his lower back at minicamp Tuesday, June 13, and was walking around gingerly.
|Footballguys view: Kupp is a precision route-runner who is quite savvy for a young receiver. He's likely to become a favorite target for second-year QB Jared Goff. Robert Woods and Tavon Austin are ahead of him on the depth chart, but Kupp should be able to help move the chains regularly as the no3 option.|
Rams | Robert Quinn had minor surgery Tue Jun 13, 07:11 PM
Los Angeles Rams DE Robert Quinn (wrist) recently underwent minor surgery on his hand, according to head coach Sean McVay, and was sporting a cast around his right wrist. He will be ready for training camp.
|Footballguys view: It's minor and not really a big deal, but it is yet another injury for Quinn. He's played in 17 games combined over the last two years due to various injuries. Getting him back on track is something we expect from new DC Wade Phillips.|
Robert Quinn player page
Colts | Andrew Luck not looking ahead Tue Jun 13, 07:03 PM
Indianapolis Colts QB Andrew Luck (shoulder) doesn't know if he'll be ready for training camp. He remains focused on the present, focusing on each rehab session. 'That's where my focus is and that's where I think it needs to be to truly get back to 100 percent,' Luck said.
|Footballguys view: Fantasy owners are looking ahead...and they should see Luck eased into action. When training camp rolls around, Luck should be out there and the team should ramp up his participation as we go through August. At this point, it seems like Luck is going to be ready for Week 1.|
Andrew Luck player page
Browns | Corey Coleman close to a return Tue Jun 13, 06:51 PM
Cleveland Browns WR Corey Coleman (hamstring) is nearing his return from a hamstring injury, according to head coach Hue Jackson.
|Footballguys view: Coleman has a chance to be the no1 WR for the Browns this year. The quarterback situation is not great, but Coleman could perform like a WR4 for fantasy owners in 2017. Durability is a major question with the 2016 first round pick after he missed six games last year as a rookie and is once again hurt this offseason. We'll see if he can stay healthy and impress in training camp.|

Dolphins | Jay Ajayi prepared for big workload Tue Jun 13, 06:04 PM
Miami Dolphins RB Jay Ajayi is ready to receive more touches this season. 'I'll be ready to carry the ball however many times I have to,' Ajayi said. 'I feel like I'm a workhorse and I get better as the game keeps going and I continue to be a part of the game.'
|Footballguys view: Head coach Adam Gase admitted that Ajayi is Miami's bell cow running back. Fantasy owners know that Ajayi can tote the rock as the lead back for the Dolphins. He's been working on his route-running ability and could be in line for more receptions than the 27 he posted in 2016. The no11 fantasy back last year, Ajayi should break into the top 10 in 2017. His current ADP is RB7 (2.02) in 12-team PPR leagues.|

Jets | ArDarius Stewart also sidelined Tue Jun 13, 05:50 PM
New York Jets WR ArDarius Stewart (groin) will not participate in minicamp this week, according to head coach Todd Bowles.
|Footballguys view: The Jets are running a little shorthanded at the position. They released Eric Decker, Quincy Enunwa (neck) is missing minicamp and now Stewart -- likely the third WR behind Enunwa and Robby Anderson -- is banged up. The rookie from Alabama will be out for minicamp and we'll have to see if he can be ready for training camp at the end of July.|
Jets | Quincy Enunwa absent at minicamp Tue Jun 13, 05:47 PM
New York Jets WRs Quincy Enunwa (neck) will not participate in minicamp this week, according to head coach Todd Bowles.
|Footballguys view: Enunwa is likely to be the Jets top target this year with the release of Eric Decker. The quarterback situation will give you nightmares, but the opportunity is there for Enunwa to pay off like a WR3/WR4 for fantasy owners. His current ADP is WR58 (12.11) in 12-team PPR leagues.|

Jets | Ben Ijalana had knee scope Tue Jun 13, 05:12 PM

Falcons | Taylor Gabriel not practicing either Tue Jun 13, 05:02 PM
Atlanta Falcons WR Taylor Gabriel (undisclosed) did not participate in minicamp Tuesday, June 13, as he deals with an undisclosed injury.
|Footballguys view: Gabriel is going to stretch the field for the Falcons once again this year. A modest increase of the numbers he produced last year (35 catches, 579 yards) is a reasonable projection. Gabriel is an exciting playmaker in a high-powered offense, but from a fantasy perspective he's mainly just depth and a WR7. His current ADP is WR70 (14.07) in 12-team PPR leagues.|
Taylor Gabriel player page
Falcons | Julio Jones not part of minicamp Tue Jun 13, 04:56 PM
Atlanta Falcons WR Julio Jones (foot) is not participating in minicamp as he continues to recover from offseason foot surgery.
|Footballguys view: No hurries, no worries here. Jones does expect to be ready for training camp in late July. Fantasy owners know that a healthy Jones can be a top-5 fantasy WR and a mid-first round pick in any format.|

49ers | C.J. Beathard signs rookie deal Tue Jun 13, 04:20 PM
San Francisco 49ers QB C.J. Beathard signed his four-year rookie deal Tuesday, June 13. Financial terms were not disclosed.
|Footballguys view: Beathard is with a QB guru in new head coach Kyle Shanahan. The rookie from Iowa has a beautiful deep pass (think Jeff Blake) and is not afraid to push the ball downfield. He needs to work on timing, pass placement and intermediate accuracy if he wants to be considered more than a developmental quarterback for the 49ers.|
Ravens | Breshad Perriman displaying confidence Tue Jun 13, 04:14 PM
Baltimore Ravens WR Breshad Perriman is exuding confidence this offseason, so much so that QB Joe Flacco claimed you can see Perriman's confidence in his eyes.
|Footballguys view: Perriman has the natural skill set to exude confidence if healthy. He's big, fast and physical...a combination that can be incredibly tough to cover. Perriman is entering his third season, and the 2015 first round pick has been on the sidelines due to knee injuries for most of his career. If healthy, Perriman could catch 50 or more passes for a Ravens offense that needs help at the WR position...even with the signing of Jeremy Maclin.|

Titans | Corey Davis full go at minicamp Tue Jun 13, 03:43 PM
Tennessee Titans WR Corey Davis (ankle) said his ankle is at full health after participating fully during minicamp Tuesday, June 13.
|Footballguys view: Davis required minor surgery after injuring his ankle in preparation for the 2017 NFL draft. The Titans have been taking it easy with him so far, and that should continue through minicamp. All reports indicate the no5 pick in the 2017 NFL draft will be full go for training camp.|
Bills | Blake Annen waived Tue Jun 13, 03:26 PM
Buffalo Bills TE Blake Annen was waived Tuesday, June 13.Link to story
Bills | Jonathan Williams key to Bills' success Tue Jun 13, 03:20 PM
Buffalo Bills RB Jonathan Williams' development will be vital to the Bills' future success, according to head coach Sean McDermott.
|Footballguys view: Dynasty owners should be drooling over this story here. Williams was a fine back in college at Arkansas, displaying toughness and instinct as a runner. He's currently getting first-team reps in minicamp with LeSean McCoy out sick (stomach virus). Williams could be in line for a larger role with the Bills in the future. McCoy (29 in July) isn't getting any younger, and there's an out in his contract after this season (plus no guaranteed money past 2017).|
Broncos | Two Broncos nursing injuries Tue Jun 13, 03:13 PM
Denver Broncos DT Kyle Peko (foot) and TE A.J. Derby (hamstring) are dealing with injuries after the first day of minicamp.
|Footballguys view: Derby looks to be a big piece of the Mike McCoy offense when healthy. He's likely the lead tight end for the Broncos and has been showing good chemistry with Paxton Lynch in practice. Derby is a sneaky TE3 with upside for fantasy owners in 2017.|
A.J. Derby player page
Bills | Sammy Watkins involved in team drills Tue Jun 13, 02:56 PM
Buffalo Bills WR Sammy Watkins (foot) participated in team drills at minicamp Tuesday, June 13. Head coach Sean McDermott said Watkins has responded well to a bigger workload and that workload will continue to be increased as long as Watkins can handle it.
|Footballguys view: Watkins has been limited by injury over the last two seasons, and we thought the Bills were going to take it easy on him in minicamp. They must believe that he can do more than some thought with the idea that he'll be full go for training camp.|
Sammy Watkins player page
Broncos | No team drills for Jamaal Charles Tue Jun 13, 02:33 PM
Denver Broncos RB Jamaal Charles (knee) will not participate in team drills during the Broncos' three-day minicamp. He will do some work with his helmet on, however.
|Footballguys view: Charles has taken some handoffs during individual drills but that's it. He still thinks he can be 'the man' and Charles seems rather salty after the Chiefs let him go. If his knees hold up, we think Charles works best in a limited role as a change-of-pace back behind starter C.J. Anderson.|
Jamaal Charles player page
Titans | Tajae Sharpe out of cast Tue Jun 13, 01:51 PM
Tennessee Titans WR Tajae Sharpe (foot) had the cast on his foot removed, and he's now in a boot.
|Footballguys view: With the additions of Corey Davis (first round) and Taywan Taylor (third round) in the 2017 NFL draft, Sharpe is now fourth on the depth chart at best. His pro career got started with a 7-76 line in Week 1 of his rookie season, but it was all downhill after that even though he played a full 16 games. This year, don't expect Sharpe to be much of a fantasy factor.|

Colts | Larry Donnell trying out for Colts Tue Jun 13, 01:42 PM
Free-agent TE Larry Donnell (Giants) is trying out for the Indianapolis Colts Tuesday, June 13.
|Footballguys view: Donnell hasn't received much interest on the open market. Injuries and inconsistencies have plagued Donnell's career, and he lost the starting job with the Giants to Will Tye last year. The Colts don't have much behind Jack Doyle and Erik Swoope, so we'll see if Donnell can make an impression during this tryout and earn a spot in training camp.|
