Patriots | Tim Tebow runs third-team offense Tue Jun 11, 03:09 PM
New England Patriots QB Tim Tebow ran the third-team offense in practice Tuesday, June 11. Tebow completed 4-of-7 passes, and a couple were dropped by wide receivers, but he also held on to the ball too long and likely would have been sacked in a real game.
| Footballguys view: Let the Tebow third-team reports commence! Tebow has a lot of work to do as a passer but most is mental. Sure, many will make a big deal out of his slow throwing motion and bad footwork. However, it's his mental processing speed that needs the most improvement. Tebow doesn't only need to trust what he sees, he needs to understand what he sees first and foremost. The Patriots have a project in Tebow and his roster spot is not guaranteed. |

Broncos | Knowshon Moreno running routes Tue Jun 11, 02:39 PM
Denver Broncos RB Knowshon Moreno (knee) was running routes during practice Tuesday, June 11. Moreno was previously only taking part in pass protection drills last week after having knee surgery early in the offseason.
| Footballguys view: Broncos head coach John Fox said earlier this offseason that Moreno was going to be brought along slowly as he comes back from the knee injury he suffered in the playoffs against Baltimore last year. The Denver Post speculates that Moreno and Willis McGahee are in a competition for one spot on the depth chart. At this point Moreno could be considered the favorite because he's a better receiver and better in pass protection than McGahee. |

Raiders | Joshua Cribbs not practicing Tue Jun 11, 02:38 PM
Oakland Raiders WR Joshua Cribbs (knee) did not participate in practice Tuesday, June 11.
| Footballguys view: No surprise here. When the Raiders signed Cribbs they knew he may not be ready to participate until training camp. He's on track to be at full strength for the start of the regular season. Cribbs is going to be the Raiders top return man this year. |

Cowboys | Morris Claiborne misses practice Tue Jun 11, 02:26 PM
Dallas Cowboys CB Morris Claiborne (migraines) did not participate in practice Tuesday, June 11 because of migraines.

Bears | Alshon Jeffery limited in practice Tue Jun 11, 02:23 PM
Chicago Bears WR Alshon Jeffery (undisclosed) suffered a tweak on a long pass he caught in organized team activities last week and was limited in practice Tuesday, June 11.
| Footballguys view: The team will be careful with Jeffery as he deals with this injury. He's set to make a bigger impact this year as the Bears' WR2 opposite Brandon Marshall. In the new Marc Trestman offense we could see Jeffery become an every week flex option for fantasy owners. His current ADP is WR48 and he's coming off the board at 12.09 in 12 team PPR leagues. |

Texans | Ed Reed injury update Tue Jun 11, 02:17 PM
Houston Texans FS Ed Reed (hip) said his rehab is going well and that he is hoping to be ready for September. 'It's going well right now, Reed said. There's really no timeline. We're just gonna keep on grinding & keep on working & shoot for September.'
| Footballguys view: The key word is 'hoping.' There's no guarantee that Reed will be ready for the start of the regular season. Reed is likely to miss time on the PUP list in training camp. He'll be very limited if he does dress for any preseason games. |

Titans | Coach praises Chris Johnson Tue Jun 11, 02:00 PM
Tennessee Titans head coach Mike Munchak praised RB Chris Johnson for his work this offseason and said he expects Johnson to have a big year in 2013.
| Footballguys view: The Titans ground game got a huge shot in the arm with the addition of OG Andy Levitre in free agency and OG Chance Warmack (Alabama) in the first-round of the 2013 NFL draft. Johnson should have plenty of running room inside but this season will have to split time with free agent addition Shonn Greene. Johnson's current ADP is RB13 and he's coming off the board at 2.05 in 12 team PPR leagues. |

Colts | Ahmad Bradshaw agrees to one-year deal Tue Jun 11, 01:54 PM
Free-agent RB Ahmad Bradshaw has agreed to a one-year deal with the Indianapolis Colts.
| Footballguys view: A good move by the Colts here. Bradshaw is a perfect fit for the Pep Hamilton West Coast offense the team is going to run this season. This addition means either Donald Brown or Delone Carter is on the roster bubble during training camp. |

Redskins | Donte' Stallworth to be signed Tue Jun 11, 01:53 PM
Free-agent WR Donte' Stallworth impressed Washington Redskins head coach Mike Shanahan during practice at the team's minicamp Tuesday, June 11. Shanahan indicated that Washington intends to sign Stallworth, barring a decline in his play in the next couple of days.
| Footballguys view: Stallworth only caught one pass last year during his time with the Patriots. In 2011 he caught 22 passes for 309 yards and two touchdowns with the Redskins. The veteran WR isn't the same player he used to be and would not be guaranteed a roster spot if the team added him. |

Bengals | Andre Smith to miss minicamp, to be fined Tue Jun 11, 01:49 PM
Cincinnati Bengals OT Andre Smith is will miss minicamp this week, according to head coach Marvin Lewis. 'He's dealing with something he's got to get through.' According to Joe Danneman of Fox 19 in Cincinnati, Lewis indicated that Smith is absent because of a personal reason not related to his January arrest for gun possession in an Atlanta airport. Smith's absence is also unrelated to his contract or on-field issues, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

Buccaneers | Tom Crabtree could be offensive weapon Tue Jun 11, 01:24 PM
Tampa Bay Buccaneers TE Tom Crabtree will be watched closely by the team's scouts and coaches in minicamp this week to see how he's adjusting to the offense and QB Josh Freeman. Tampa Bay's shift from a West Coast-style of offense to more of a vertical passing attack has reduced the emphasis placed on the tight end. The Buccaneers believe that Crabtree has the ability to be a threat in the passing game, however, and he could prompt them to alter how much they involve the position.
| Footballguys view: Crabtree only has 18 catches for 302 yards and 4 touchdowns over his three year career with the Packers. Now that he's with the Buccaneers we'll see if he can expand his role. Fantasy owners in super deep dynasty leagues need to keep an eye on Crabtree in the preseason. |

Buccaneers | Team high on Kevin Ogletree Tue Jun 11, 01:11 PM
Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Kevin Ogletree has to beat out WRs Tiquan Underwood, David Douglas, Chris Owusu and Eric Page to win the third wide receiver position, but the Bucs are very high on Ogletree, according to The Tampa Tribune's Roy Cummings.
| Footballguys view: Ogletree failed to play up to his potential with the Cowboys and now gets a fresh start with the Bucs. Underwood is a staff favorite and may not get beat out for the team's WR3 spot. |

Broncos | Willis McGahee arrives Tue Jun 11, 01:10 PM
Denver Broncos RB Willis McGahee is present for the team's minicamp on Tuesday, June 11.
| Footballguys view: McGahee is at the facility for the first time this offseason. Many think his roster spot is in danger after the team added Montee Ball (Wisconsin) in the second-round of the 2013 NFL draft. He is competing for a spot on the depth chart with Knowshon Moreno and is not a lock to make the team. |

Cardinals | Michael Floyd poised for breakout Tue Jun 11, 12:32 PM
Arizona Cardinals WR Michael Floyd appears to be an important piece to new head coach Bruce Arians as the team heads into the 2013 season. He seems to have been targeted more than any other player during workouts. WR Larry Fitzgerald took Floyd under his wing last year and has helped the second-year receiver to improve his diet, among other things. Arians said, 'I see him making leaps and bounds getting better. ... He's totally bought in and if he just continues to improve his fundamentals he's another guy who can have a breakout year.'
| Footballguys view: Larry Fitzgerald has been impressed by Floyd this offseason. This is important for fantasy owners to realize. Floyd has the big play ability, size, and wingspan to be an impact player at the pro level. The news Arians offense fits his downfield skill set perfectly and he could quickly earn the trust of QB Carson Palmer. Floyd's current ADP is WR57 and he's coming off the board at 13.10 in 12 team PPR leagues. |

Panthers | Greg Hardy won't hold out Tue Jun 11, 12:19 PM
Carolina Panthers DE Greg Hardy showed up for minicamp on Tuesday, June 11, and said that he plans to report to training camp with his current contract.

Giants | Hakeem Nicks to show at TC Tue Jun 11, 12:18 PM
New York Giants WR Hakeem Nicks said that he sees no reason why he wouldn't be present for the start of the team's training camp when it opens, in July. The receiver, when asked about not telling the team that he would be skipping organized team activities, replied, 'I could've done a better job with that.'
| Footballguys view: Nicks has a long injury history that is going to prevent him from getting the big money contract he wants right now. If he plays up to his potential and stays healthy this season then he should have no problem getting the contract he desires. |

Ravens | Vonta Leach cut Tue Jun 11, 11:32 AM
The Baltimore Ravens announced they waived FB Vonta Leach. FB Kyle Juszczyk is now the starter.

Patriots | Austin Collie works out Tue Jun 11, 11:23 AM
The New England Patriots worked out free-agent WR Austin Collie (Colts).
| Footballguys view: Collie is trying to make a comeback from a ruptured right patella tendon. He has a long concussion history that also clouds his NFL future. Collie won't be 100 percent until October and may not get signed to a deal with any team until then. |

Patriots | Danny Amendola building rapport Tue Jun 11, 10:41 AM
New England Patriots WR Danny Amendola seems to have built a level of trust with QB Tom Brady quicker than the other receivers.
| Footballguys view: Amendola is taking the place of Wes Welker (Broncos) and is line for over 150 targets if he can stay healthy. He's only been able to play a full 16 games once (2010) during his four-year pro career. Last year he missed five games for the Rams due to a clavicle and triceps injury. Amendola is a WR2 with upside for fantasy owners if he's able to stay on the field for a full season. His current ADP is WR19 and he's coming off the board at 5.07 in 12 team PPR leagues. |

Buccaneers | Josh Freeman smoother Tue Jun 11, 09:54 AM
Tampa Bay Buccaneers offensive coordinator Mike Sullivan said QB Josh Freeman is much smoother in the offseason this season. 'There has been a lot of improvement from Josh, and really all the offensive players the second year in the system,' Sullivan said. 'This time last year - it is like a foreign language - just learning the formations and the calls. Now we have a complete offseason, a training camp, a preseason and 16 regular season games, and things are much smoother and we are really excited abut where we are at.'
| Footballguys view: Freeman is entering the final year of his rookie contract and needs to be more consistent in 2013 if he wants to have a future with the Buccaneers. The team selected Mike Glennon (NC State) in the third-round of the 2013 NFL draft to push Freeman this year and be a starting option if they part ways with Freeman this offseason. So far it sounds like Freeman is on the right track. |

New York Giants WR Hakeem Nicks is at Giants minicamp Tuesday, June 11.
| Footballguys view: Nicks won't be a holdout because of his contract situation. Entering the final year of his deal Nicks needs to stay healthy and play up to his potential. He could be a top 15 WR in 2013 if healthy. |

Patriots | Tim Tebow signs Tue Jun 11, 09:24 AM
The New England Patriots announced the signing of free-agent QB Tim Tebow (Jets) to an undisclosed deal.
| Footballguys view: Tebow is going to be used as a third-string QB for the Patriots behind Tom Brady and Ryan Mallett. Patriots head coach Bill Belichick loves versatile players and he'll be more creative than Rex Ryan (Jets) was with Tebow last year. |

Bears | Shea McClellin banged up Tue Jun 11, 08:58 AM
Chicago Bears DE Shea McClellin (foot) has been bothered by plantar fasciitis in his right foot.
| Footballguys view: McClellin finished last year with only 2.5 sacks as a situational rusher but is looking for a bigger role in 2013. The injury is not considered severe and he should be ready to participate later in minicamp. |

Seahawks | Percy Harvin moving around Tue Jun 11, 08:38 AM
Seattle Seahawks WR Percy Harvin has seen time in the slot and on the outside during practice. He has also seen time at running back and kick returner.
| Footballguys view: Harvin was in the backfield on days Marshawn Lynch missed practice, but this is still a sign that he's going to be moved around quite a bit in 2013. We like Harvin as a top 10 fantasy WR this year provided he can stay healthy. His current ADP is WR7 and he's coming off the board at 3.04 in 12 team PPR leagues. |

Patriots | Brandon Bolden sits out Tue Jun 11, 08:17 AM
New England Patriots RB Brandon Bolden (foot) has sat out of OTAs thus far due to a foot injury. He's no longer wearing a walking boot, but it's unclear if he'll practice before the end of minicamp.

Packers | Preparing for more read-option Mon Jun 10, 09:50 PM
The Green Bay Packers are putting more time into preparing for the read-option in 2013. 'We're going to do more,' defensive coordinator Dom Capers said. 'We're going to do more than we have because we know the first two teams we play run it. There will be a number of teams that have a little element of it in. How much it takes off, I don't know. It's like everything else. Things go in cycles. Over 28 years, I've seen a lot of cycles in the league.'
| Footballguys view: The Packers were torched last year by 49ers QB Colin Kaepernick in the playoffs. Kaepernick racked up 181 yards rushing en route to a 49ers victory. With the read option growing in popularity it's only wise for every team to prepare for more of those looks. |
Buccaneers | Could keep three quarterbacks Mon Jun 10, 09:37 PM
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers could keep three quarterbacks on the roster in 2013 because QB Mike Glennon is a rookie. General manager Mark Dominik said the team is leaning towards keeping three quarterbacks.

Patriots | Could get involved in Ahmad Bradshaw talks Mon Jun 10, 07:27 PM
The New England Patriots could get involved in trying to sign free-agent RB Ahmad Bradshaw (Giants). Bradshaw is still talking with the Indianapolis Colts.
| Footballguys view: It sounds just like the Patriots to get in the mix here. They added LeGarrette Blount earlier this offseason in a trade with the Buccaneers. Bradshaw would be a good fit for their offense because of his receiving ability. Currently they'll try Leon Washington in the Danny Woodhead role in 2013. |
