So I think it's pretty well known where I stand... how I want to end my career. If it's not in Seattle, then I'll be all good.'   Seahawks | K.J. Wright eyeing Seattle reunion    Thu May 5, 10:51 PM

Free-agent LB K.J. Wright (Raiders) said he hopes to return to the Seattle Seahawks for the 2022 season. 'I just want to go back home,' Wright said. 'I think it's that simple. Seattle knows that I want to come back. They know how much they mean to me.'

Footballguys view: Wright didn't sign until the eve of the season last year and contributed as a part-time player for the Raiders, making the playoffs. He never wanted to leave Seattle and didn't move his family to Las Vegas. Wright hinted that he might retire if the Seahawks don't bring him back because he doesn't want to move his family and he doesn't want to spend the season away from them.

Free-agent LB K.J. Wright (Seahawks) did not reach an agreement with the Las Vegas Raiders during his visit Thursday, Aug. 5, but will keep in touch with the team.

Footballguys view: Wright has a lot of experience in Gus Bradley's defense from their days together and the Raiders aren't in love with their linebackers, but it's possible that Wright is looking for more money than the Raiders want to give him. He remains one of the best remaining free agents in a surprisingly stacked market for August.

Seahawks | K.J. Wright ahead of schedule    Sat Jun 6, 06:50 PM

Seattle Seahawks LB K.J. Wright (shoulder) said he is ahead of schedule in his recovery from shoulder surgery and expects to be ready for Week 1 of the 2020 season.

Footballguys view: Wright's position is still a questionmark. He has been the weakside linebacker for a long time, but that's the natural position for first-round pick Jordyn Brooks, so they could shift him to the strongside. It's a big deal for Wright's IDP stock and Brooks' chances of having an impact in IDP leagues this year.

Seahawks | Seattle's season ends despite late rally    Sun Jan 12, 10:11 PM

Seattle Seahawks QB Russell Wilson completed 21-of-31 passes for 277 yards and a touchdown as the team fell behind by 18 points twice but made a late charge before falling short 28-23 in Sunday's NFC Divisional Round playoff game. Wilson led the team in rushing with 64 yards, while RB Marshawn Lynch rushed for 26 yards and two scores on 12 attempts. WR Tyler Lockett was highly efficient, turning his 10 targets into nine catches for 136 yards and a touchdown. WR DK Metcalf was held somewhat in check after setting a playoff record for most receiving yards by a rookie one week ago, finishing with four receptions for 59 yards. TE Jacob Hollister hauled in five catches for 47 yards. RB Travis Homer chipped in 27 more yards through the air to go along with his 13 rushing yards. CB Tre Flowers, LB K.J. Wright and DE Jadeveon Clowney paced Seattle with seven tackles apiece. LB Shaquem Griffin tallied one of Seattle's two sacks, while Wright and Clowney combined on the other.

Footballguys view: Wilson was once again outstanding in a playoff loss. If the Seahawks had any kind of effective running game, they might have been okay in this one. Their defense has room to improve and the Seahawks will still be in the top of the NFC picture next year.
