St. Louis Rams CB Eric Patterson (ankle), DT Nick Fairley (concussion) and DT Doug Worthington (thigh) have been ruled out for the Week 17 game against the San Francisco 49ers. SS Mark Barron (concussion), DT Michael Brockers (thigh) and DL Ethan Westbrooks (concussion) are listed as probable, and OT Andrew Donnal (knee) is questionable for Week 17. Patterson, Fairley and Worthington did not practice Friday, Jan. 1, and Donnal was limited during practice. Barron, Brockers and Westbrooks all fully participated in practice Friday.

The Washington Redskins waived TE DeAngelo Peterson (foot) and DL Doug Worthington (biceps) and signed free-agent PK John Potter (Bills), who was the kickoff specialist for the Buffalo Bills in 2012. Peterson broke a bone in his foot last week, and Worthington suffered a triceps tendon injury which might require surgery. If unclaimed, both players would land on Injured Reserve, with the team paying for their rehab.
