The Los Angeles Rams waived WR K.D. Cannon, RB Aaron Green, WR Paul McRoberts, FB Sam Rogers, WR Shakeir Ryan, WR Brandon Shippen, WR Nelson Spruce, RB Lenard Tillery and TE Travis Wilson Saturday, Sept. 2. Spruce and Tillery were waived with injury settlements. TE Corey Harkey and QB Dan Orlovsky were terminated. TE Temarrick Hemingway (leg) was placed on Reserve/Injured, and RB Lance Dunbar was placed on the Reserve/ Physically Unable to Perform list.
| Footballguys view: We'd like to see the Rams keep Spruce on the practice squad. If healthy, Spruce could make some plays as an underneath receiver in the McVay system. |
