Seattle Seahawks CB Marcus Trufant could receive a significant amount of playing time this season because the team could use the nickel defense more often depending on the how some of the linebackers develop during training camp. General manager John Schneider said Trufant would play 50 to 70 percent of the snaps when he signed with the Seahawks.

Seattle Seahawks CB Marcus Trufant (hamstring) could miss his second straight game because of a hamstring issue suffered in practice. 'He had a pretty legit hamstring pull,' head coach Pete Carroll said. 'So I don't know where he'll be by the end of the week, but he's in rehab now still. It's going to be a challenge to get him back for the game. We'll see what happens. I don't want to rule him out.'
