| Footballguys view: Toliver has great size and overall athleticism, but he was extremely inconsistent at LSU and had to work his way up from the depths of the practice squad and bouncing around the bottom of NFL rosters. He would be a good fit as a backup receiver in Chicago. |

| Footballguys view: Deep dynasty league owners should have a few of these players on the radar. We like the upside of a guy like Toliver in that type of league. He's got an intriguing size/speed combination, and he's been working hard to improve his hands and route running ability. |

| Footballguys view: We like Toliver in super deep dynasty leagues. He's bounced around the NFL since going undrafted in 2011. Toliver has a good size/speed combination but is a sharp route runner with some burst in and out of his breaks. Concentration problems have plagued him throughout his football career dating back to his time at LSU. |

Houston Texans head coach Gary Kubiak said Tuesday, Aug. 30, that the preseason finale Thursday, Sept. 1, against the Minnesota Vikings is 'very big' for WR Terrence Toliver (undisclosed). The undrafted rookie might make the team as a fourth or fifth receiver. 'He was unable to practice yesterday,' Kubiak said. 'He practiced just briefly today, so I'm hoping he's ready to go, so we'll see. He got dinged a little bit last game, so we'll see where he's at.'
| Footballguys view: Undrafted free agents have to impress early and often during training camp. Toliver is a big target who can run crisp routes and has good 'my ball' mentality when a pass is coming his way. If he doesn't make the final roster we could see him catching on with a practice squad somewhere. |

| Footballguys view: We like this signing by the Texans. It was a little surprising that Toliver went undrafted this year as he has a good size/speed combination. Toliver is not a quick twitch athlete but does run good routes and changes direction well. He's a good developmental prospect for the Texans and should make the final roster. Toliver was inconsistent at LSU and plagued by poor QB play. He could make the team as the #5 receiver and push Dorin Dickerson for a roster spot. |
