Giants | Levine Toilolo on IR Sat Aug 7, 07:12 PM
New York Giants TE Levine Toilolo (Achilles) was placed on the Reserve/Injured list Saturday, Aug. 7.
Footballguys view: Toilolo was trying to make it as a fourth tight end and blocking specialist. Cole Hikutini or Tommy Stevens, who has some Taysom Hill gadget play quarterback potential, could win a roster spot in the wake of Toilolo's injury. |

Detroit Lions TE Levine Toilolo will take over the blocking tight end role that Cleveland Browns TE Darren Fells filled last season, according to Nate Atkins of MLive.com.
Footballguys view: With Toilolo taking over blocking duties, we'll see Luke Willson and Michael Roberts compete to be the receiving tight end. Willson, a free agent addition from the Seahawks, has more experience and should begin the season as the starter. We are curious about Roberts, the second-year pro from Toledo, as he was a touchdown hog during his college days. |

Falcons | Jacob Tamme may be in lead for TE job Wed Jun 17, 12:31 PM
Atlanta Falcons TE Jacob Tamme appears to be the leading candidate for the starting tight end job but is being pushed by TEs Tony Moeaki and Levine Toilolo. Head coach Dan Quinn indicated Toilolo could be used more as a blocker this season.
Footballguys view: Moeaki has talent, but he always seems to be banged up. Toilolo is a captain on the Black Eyed Joe All-Name team, but he's coming off a seriously disappointing 2014 where he stayed in to block mostly. Tamme is a team-first guy, and he's got more left in the tank than some think. No Atlanta tight end is getting selected in 12-team PPR leagues at this time, but keep the veteran Tamme on your waiver-wire speed dial. |

Footballguys view: Toilolo isn't an exciting fantasy option. We're keeping an eye on veteran Jacob Tamme. He's still got the ability to get open against zone coverage, and Tamme can do something with the rock after the catch. Neither player is getting drafted in 14-round, 12-team PPR leagues at this time. |

Falcons | Levine Toilolo dropping passes Thu Oct 16, 01:49 PM
Atlanta Falcons TE Levine Toilolo has dropped six passes on 21 targets this season. Offensive coordinator Dirk Koetter said Toilolo has been working hard on his catching ability during practice.
Footballguys view: For a while some fantasy owners thought Levine Toilolo would be the next big thing, but the only thing big about him seems to be the cement gloves on his hands. Dropping a third of your targets is never good but he'll still get some looks on occasion given the options after Julio Jones and Roddy White. Still, he's not worth a start and really not worth rostering unless your bench is deep. |
