| Footballguys view: The Panthers need some help in the secondary, but Tillman is well past his prime at this point. He's coming off a triceps injury which cost him the whole of the 2014 NFL season. Tillman's had health issues for years so we are guessing his impact will be relatively minimal. NFL.com's Nick Till pointed out this transaction may be more about Ron Rivera--a former defensive coordinator of Tillman's from the Bears--kicking the tires on a former player than anything else. |
