Also, the team signed third-round draft pick DE Khyri Thornton to an undisclosed four-year deal and released TE Raymond Webber. Per NFL rules, undrafted free agents all receive three-year deals.
| Footballguys view: Lyerla is the player to watch here. He has amazing talent as a move tight end with the speed to stretch the vertical seam. Problems with cocaine during his time in college at Oregon caused him to go undrafted. If he stays clean, Lyerla could be a dangerous player on the Packers offense. |
