Interim head coach Joe Vitt said Strief was closer to playing in Week 13. 'Our right tackle situation is going to be fine in this game,' Vitt said. 'There's a lot of ways we can help that position. It's unclear if he dealing with a high or low ankle sprain, but he doesn't look to be back to 100 percent health. Graham has been doing some running, and the team is optimistic he'll be back sooner than later.

New Orleans Saints second-year TE Jimmy Graham can quickly take over the team's pass catching role at tight end with the release of TE Jeremy Shockey, reports Pat Yasinskas, of ESPN. Graham has tremendous upside and emerged quickly during his first season. The team will likely keep TE David Thomas, too, who will rotate with Graham and serve as the blocking option.
