Free-agent TE Jeremy Sprinkle (Washington) reportedly agreed to terms on a one-year contract with the Dallas Cowboys on Wednesday, April 7. Financial terms of the deal were not immediately disclosed.
| Footballguys view: Jerry Jones loves his Arkansas Razorbacks (that's his alma mater). Sprinkle, a fifth-round pick out of Arkansas back in 2017 hasn't done much in the pros. In 2020, Sprinkle barely saw the field for Washington playing only 219 snaps and getting three targets that he turned into one catch for six yards. Staying in the NFC East and now with the Cowboys, Sprinkle will serve as a reserve behind Blake Jarwin and Dalton Schultz. |

(Tight ends coach) Pete Hoener ... felt very strongly about this guy's abilities, mostly because he thought he was a very smart and savvy football player, he's a tremendous athlete and he's just learning and getting the position right now,' head coach Ron Rivera said.
