Arizona Cardinals RB LaRod Stephens-Howling has not received a contract offer from the team. He'll be an unrestricted free agent in March. Arizona wants to bring him back, but it looks as though he'll be able to at least test the market. The team still has RBs William Powell and Alfonso Smith.
| Footballguys view: Stephens-Howling is a nice change of pace back who can produce if given a bigger role. Filling in as a starter earlier this year he had 104 yards rushing against the Vikings in week 7 and 127 yards rushing against the Falcons in week 11. |

He impressed with eight carries for 46 yards and a rushing touchdown. Smith is in the mix for the No. 3 tailback job. His competition for the job, RB LaRod Stephens-Howling, posted 25 rushing yards on four carries. William Powell had 10 carries, but he managed just 31 yards. He also had three grabs for 26 yards.
