Bob Matthews, from DemocratandChronicle.com, reports this week's signing of running back Chad Simpson by the Buffalo Bills made it all the more likely that the Buffalo Bills will trade Marshawn Lynch before the 2010 season starts. That's assuming the Bills can find a taker, and it is difficult be believe that no team is interested.
| Footballguys view: Simpson could win the job as the team's number one kick returner, and his special teams play may push Lynch out the door. Ever since the Bills selected RB C.J. Spiller in the first-round of the 2010 NFL Draft there has been speculation that Lynch was on his way out of town. Bills GM Buddy Nix recently stated that Marshawn Lynch was going to stay in Buffalo, but with Simpson coming on board it may have changed his mind. It's not likely the Bills will get much in return for the veteran running back who is in need of a change of scenery. |
