Ravens | Jaleel Scott makes plays Fri Aug 30, 09:49 AM
Baltimore Ravens WR Jaleel Scott hauled in six receptions for 87 yards and a touchdown in the final preseason game Thursday, Aug. 29.
Footballguys view: Scott is close to the cut line, but he's still only in his second year and has good size at the position. He should end up on a practice squad if the Ravens release him. |

Ravens | Jaleel Scott has bad day Thu Jul 26, 11:19 AM
Baltimore Ravens WR Jaleel Scott dropped three passes in individual sessions Thursday, July 26.
Footballguys view: Rookies can have a rough time entering the NFL, and drops can be a symptom of that. We aren't expecting big things from him this year, so while he is worth watching, he's not worth rostering. |

Ravens | Jaleel Scott making strides Sun May 27, 10:43 PM
Baltimore Ravens WR Jaleel Scott looks more comfortable during OTAs than he did in rookie minicamp, according to Jeff Zrebiec of the Baltimore Sun.
Footballguys view: It wasn't a great year for big wide receivers in the 2018 NFL draft, but Scott is one of the big guys to keep an eye on. At 6'5" 215 pounds, Scott has the size and wingspan to contribute early as a red zone target. He's buried on the depth chart right now, especially after the Ravens added three veterans (Michael Crabtree, John Brown, Willie Snead) in free agency. We'll monitor Scott in dynasty leagues. |

Ravens | Baltimore signs eight draft picks Sat May 5, 05:38 PM
The Baltimore Ravens signed fourth-round draft choices CB Anthony Averett, LB Kenny Young and WR Jaleel Scott, fifth-round draft choice WR Jordan Lasley, sixth-round draft choices S DeShon Elliott, OT Greg Senat and C Bradley Bozeman and seventh-round draft choice DE Zach Sieler to four-year contracts Saturday, May 5. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Footballguys view: The two WRs are the ones to watch here. Scott is a big-bodied target who can box out smaller defenders and play above the rim. He also does a good job tracking 20-plus yard passes over his shoulder. Lasley is a dangerous player with the ball in his hands. He can make defenders miss with moves but has the ability to break tackles and take it to the house. |

Ravens | Jaleel Scott may be red zone target Sun Apr 29, 05:34 PM
Baltimore Ravens WR Jaleel Scott is expected to compete for the No. 4 receiver job and could also be a red zone target because of his size.
Footballguys view: The Ravens signed Willie Snead, Michael Crabtree, and John Brown this year, but it's possible that none are on the roster two years from now. Scott is more skilled than the typical big receiver and that's why he was drafted earlier than most of his big wide receiver peers this year. |

Ravens | Jaleel Scott selected by Ravens Sat Apr 28, 01:36 PM
The Baltimore Ravens selected New Mexico State WR Jaleel Scott with the 132nd overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft Saturday, April 28.
Footballguys view: Scott has tremendous height and length and he exploded in production his last season at New Mexico State. He has a 'My Ball" mentality, and has no compunctions about taking the ball away from defenders. He doesn't have the quickness to win underneath, isn't very sudden and is a slow accelerator, plus his routes need work. Raw, but with a lot of upside. |
