Broncos | Could add veteran TE in free agency    Sat Jul 9, 08:24 PM

Cecil Lammey, NFL Insider for FRSN and senior writer for Footballguys.com, reports via Twitter that the Broncos may bring in a veteran TE in free agency. Possible additions for the team include Dante Rosario, Jeff King, and Bo Scaife.

Titans | Bo Scaife not expected to return    Sun Feb 20, 04:33 PM

Footballguys view: The Titans are ready to move on with Jared Cook as their featured Tight End. Cook is freakishly athletic and has Vernon Davis-like upside if he ever plays to his full potential.

Titans | Locker room divided over Vince Young    Thu Dec 16, 09:54 AM

Tennessee Titans TE Bo Scaife said he believes QB Vince Young does not feel welcome by the team, according to Jim Wyatt, of The Tennessean. Young has not been around the team since being placed on Injured Reserve last month. 'I think Jeff has probably given that impression to him,' Scaife said. 'That is between him and Coach Fish and no one knows what is going on between them two. But if people knew the real story they might understand the situation a little better.' Scaife admitted players might have some hard feelings about Young's actions after the loss to the Washington Redskins, when the quarterback cursed head coach Jeff Fisher and left the locker room abruptly. 'I know his teammates definitely want him here,' Scaife said. 'The more I think about that, I guess the locker room might be divided up. But I know all the guys on my side (offense), we all love VY.'

Footballguys view: Vince Young is a drama queen and the situation in Tennesee may boil down to either Fisher leaving or Young leaving.

Titans | Scaife back to work, OK with contract situation    Tue Jul 6, 07:28 PM

Mark Wheeler, of the Nashville City Paper, reports that Titans TE Bo Scaife got tired of talking to Titans QB Vince Young about practices on the phone during his holdout. Scaife felt "something inside" that made him ready to come back. Offensive coordinator Mike Heimerdinger said there is no worry about Scaife and that he is a "smart, smart football player."

Footballguys view: Scaife is underrated depth at TE, especially in PPR leagues. He'll catch about 4-5 balls most games and he is still Vince Young's security blanket while Jared Cook continues to develop and work through inconsistency.

Titans | Bo Scaife expected to attend minicamp    Mon May 24, 10:14 AM

Tennessee Titans TE Bo Scaife is expected to take part in the team's minicamp this week, according to Jim Wyatt, of The Tennessean.

Titans | Disappointed Bo Scaife not attending offseason workouts    Sat May 15, 11:42 AM

Tennessee Titans head coach Jeff Fisher expressed disappointment in TE Bo Scaife for staying away from offseason workouts despite the fact that he is under contract, reports David Boclair, of The City Paper. Scaife recently signed the team's one-year tender offer. 'Bo must have reasons for it,' Fisher said. 'He was compensated pretty well last year and he's going to be compensated pretty well this year. I think we've treated Bo pretty well.'

Footballguys view: Chris Johnson skipping voluntary workouts is not a surprise to the Titans, but Scaife's absence is puzzling. This is opening the door for a young tight end like Jared Cook to get more experience while the veteran stays away from camp.
