Unrestricted free-agent CB Samari Rolle (Ravens) has retired from professional football after being advised by doctors not to play any more after two neck surgeries, reports Jim Wyatt, of The Tennessean.

Mike Preston, of The Baltimore Sun, reports Baltimore Ravens CB Samari Rolle (neck) said he is considering retirement unless he is told he can't injure himself again. 'I'm going to sit down with my family and listen to what my doctors have to say,' said Rolle. 'I've had two neck surgeries, and at my age, unless they show me something scientifically that says I can't hurt myself again, then I'm done.'
