Jets | Multiple players worked out for Jets Thu Sep 6, 11:44 AM
Updating previous reports, the New York Jets on Wednesday, Sept. 5, worked out free-agent OLs Will Holden (Cardinals) and Rees Odhiambo (Seahawks), DLs Cornelius Washington (Lions), PKs Jon Brown (Bengals) and Matthew McCrane (Cardinals), CBs Tony Lippett (Dolphins) and Josh Robinson (Buccaneers), LB Hayes Pullard (Chargers), WR Hunter Sharp (Giants) and RB Mark Thompson (Ravens).
Footballguys view: The Jets will keep throwing wood on the fire, hoping some of it isn't wet and catches. They need offensive line help, kicking help and some defensive depth but none of these guys is likely to move the needle in a big way. That's why they were on the street in the first place. |

Buccaneers | Week 6 injury report for Bucs Fri Oct 13, 04:40 PM
Tampa Bay Buccaneers LB Kwon Alexander (hamstring), S Keith Tandy (hip) and SS T.J. Ward (hip) were limited participant in practices Friday, Oct. 13, and all three have been ruled out for Week 6 against the Arizona Cardinals. CB Josh Robinson (concussion) and DE Ryan Russell (shoulder) did not practice and are also out. LB Lavonte David (ankle) was a limited participant, while DE Robert Ayers (back) and C Ali Marpet (illness) practiced in full. That trio is listed as questionable.
Footballguys view: It sounds like Lavonte David could be back this week, but the Bucs defense is still weakened in the back seven against Adrian Peterson in his debut as a Cardinal. |

49ers | Josh Robinson not signing with 49ers Mon Jul 10, 05:52 PM
Free-agent RB Josh Robinson (Colts) is not signing with the San Francisco 49ers, contrary to previous reports.
Footballguys view: A sixth-round pick in 2015, Robinson was out of the league last year. During his one year with the Colts, Robinson struggled to make an impact as a runner (2.3 YPC) and was downright bad in pass protection. He's participating in the Spring League Showcase featuring former NFL players in Napa, California. |

Minnesota Vikings TE Rhett Ellison (ankle), LB Anthony Barr (knee), DE Everson Griffen (shoulder), DT Linval Joseph (foot), CB Josh Robinson (concussion) and S Harrison Smith (knee, hamstring) are all probable for the Week 16 game against the New York Giants. Ellison and Smith were limited in practice Friday, Dec. 25, and Robinson, Barr, Griffen and Joseph fully practiced.
Footballguys view: The Vikings defense is getting close to full strength, which is bad news for a Odell Beckham-less Giants offense. |

Colts | Josh Robinson goes to IR Tue Dec 15, 04:01 PM
Indianapolis Colts RB Josh Robinson (back) was placed on the practice squad Reserve/Injured list Tuesday, Dec. 15.
Footballguys view: Robinson began the year as Frank Gore's backup, but he quickly fell out of favor due to fumbling issues and minimal production. Only deep dynasty league owners should be monitoring Robinson going in 2016. |

Colts | Josh Robinson totals 10 touches Tue Sep 22, 12:43 AM
Indianapolis Colts RB Josh Robinson carried five times for 12 yards in the Week 2 loss against the New York Jets Monday, Sept. 21, and he added five receptions for 27 yards on five targets.
Footballguys view: The rookie runs hard when he gets a chance. The team is using him as a change-of-pace back behind Frank Gore. Too bad there's not a lot of rushing room for any Colts back this year. |

Colts | Josh Robinson will be No. 2 RB Sat Sep 12, 09:50 AM
Indianapolis Colts RB Josh Robinson will serve as the primary backup to RB Frank Gore in the team's Week 1 game against the Buffalo Bills.
Footballguys view: We like Robinson's upside and natural skill set. He runs low to the ground and has no problem changing direction without losing much speed. Gore is one of the most durable players in the league, so Robinson is only a guy to keep on your waiver-wire speed dial in traditional leagues. |

Colts | Three Indy RBs will be available Wed Sep 9, 05:07 PM

Colts | Josh Robinson the No. 2 RB Mon Sep 7, 08:24 AM
Indianapolis Colts RB Josh Robinson will likely serve as the No. 2 running back behind RB Frank Gore. RB Vick Ballard (hamstring) re-injured his hamstring in the final preseason game.
Footballguys view: Fantasy owners need to be dialed into the rookie here. Don't handcuff him to Frank Gore unless you have a deep bench, but keep Robinson on your waiver wire speed dial. He's a talented back with good balance and vision when running the rock. |

Colts | Josh Robinson could have a role Sat Jun 6, 06:49 PM
Indianapolis Colts RB Josh Robinson has a chance to receive snaps in 2015 and could be a key part of the team's backfield in the future, according to beat writer Kevin Bowen.
Footballguys view: At 5'9" 215 pounds, Robinson is a bowling ball between the tackles and he's got good hands as a receiver out of the backfield. It's Frank Gore's show this season, but Robinson could be groomed in 2015 for a larger role in the future. |

Colts | Josh Robinson agrees to terms Thu May 7, 01:26 AM
The Indianapolis Colts agreed to terms with RB Josh Robinson Wednesday, May 6. Financial terms of the deal were undisclosed.
Footballguys view: Robinson could step in for Frank Gore on occasion and his bruising 'bowling ball' style would be a huge help on third-and-short opportunities. It's also important to keep in mind that while Gore continues to be effective, at his age the production can drop off at any time. While Robinson has little value as more than a handcuff in redraft leagues, that could change quickly. |

NCAA | Josh Robinson to turn pro Thu Jan 1, 01:21 AM
Mississippi State RB Josh Robinson will pass up his senior season and declare for the 2015 NFL Draft.
Footballguys view: Robinson is a good all-around back who can make plays as a runner or receiver out of the backfield. After only one season as the Bulldogs starter, Robinson is quick in the open field but also tough enough to run between the tackles. He's likely a third-round pick in the 2015 NFL draft. |
