University of Florida CB Marcus Roberson will forgo his final year in college to enter the 2014 NFL Draft. He had 11 tackles and broke up three passes in seven games this year after recovering from knee and ankle injuries. Roberson had 56 tackles, 17 pass breakups and three interceptions in his Gators career. ESPN's Todd McShay projects Roberson to be a late first-round pick this year.
| Footballguys view: Some in the scouting community aren't as high on Roberson as McShay is. Roberson has an average grade as a late second- or early third-round pick. He's a talented corner who has long arms to break up passes. Roberson is light on his feet and can flip his hips to cover deep when necessary. He's a cover corner, but he's not much of a run defender. |
