Chiefs | Fourteen players cut Mon Aug 26, 02:42 AM
Kansas City Chiefs backup QB Ricky Stanzi and FB Braden Wilson were among 14 players cut by the team Sunday, Aug. 25. Wilson was the team's sixth-round draft pick just this year, while Stanzi had a following in Kansas City despite limited play. Also cut were WR Terrance Copper, DB Neiko Thorpe, CB's Vincent Agnew, Otha Foster III, and Kamaal McIlwain; OL Ryan Durand, A.J. Hawkins and Hutch Eckerson; DE's Miguel Chavis and Rob Lohr; RB Jordan Roberts; and WR Tyler Shoemaker.

The Kansas City Chiefs have signed free-agent DL Miguel Chavis (Steelers) and CB James Rogers (Buccaneers), and undrafted free-agent RB Jordan Roberts (Charleston), DL Risean Broussard (Hinds Community College), S Greg Castillo (Iowa) and S Justin Glenn (Washington). Terms of the contracts were not disclosed.
