We're not exactly enthusiastic about the backfield here and would avoid it for the most part. There are much better options out there. |

| Footballguys view: Blue was not great the first time out, and we see him as no more than an uninspiring RB3 this week. Polk is an RB4 with upside as he has shown a few more flashes than Blue, but that's not a high bar and we wouldn't want to count on him either. Grimes is no better than an ER5. This is a mess we'd stay away from unless you are desperate, even against the Tennessee Titans. |

Free-agent RB Chris Polk (Eagles) is drawing interest from five NFL teams, according to sources. The teams were not disclosed, except to say one of the teams is from the NFC East.
| Footballguys view: As long as he's healthy, Polk should be attracting plenty of interest. He's a tough runner inside, but he's a fantastic receiver out of the backfield too. It wouldn't be a shock to see Polk become an effective starter. He'll likely have to work his way up the depth chart no matter where he ends up. |

Philadelphia Eagles restricted free-agent RB Chris Polk's tender offer has been rescinded by the Eagles, according to a source. Polk will become an unrestricted free agent and allowed to sign with any team.
| Footballguys view: There are $1.54 million reasons the Eagles did this. With DeMarco Murray, Darren Sproles, and Ryan Mathews in the house, there was no need for Polk at that price. Someone will take a shot with him though may have to earn a roster spot in camp. |
